but I like Ben Stiller movies! :-\
We can discuss this once you are alive! But my answer currently would be yes!
I'm also interested in a creche of sorts to help defend my "children" if/when I respawn as a god, but I don't want Jbg watching them...
No. You don't get to be in the neighborhood watch. Dark Gods only.
That's moralist!

Vanida is very irresponsible. I'm torn between getting the Seaspawn to kill her, freeing her serpent children so they can kill her, or kill her myself.
Why not all three?

Just to emphasize, part of my main proposal was to ensure that all areas and facilities have audio and video surveillance. Including employee quarters. Just... so you guys know, or in case that isn't cool with your character.
Does this include the restrooms?

All Rebecca Gallagher requests is an extensive filing system and state of the art desktop, along with the basic neccesities of office work and all information on current employees that she has clearance for.
Dr. Drake suggests something similar be provided to all researchers, administrators, and other knowledge workers* once the base is set up.

*Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Also, someone order an office chair with swivel and a leather cushion.
Make that two.
Make that five, one for each administrator and zero for the researchers and whatnot.

The cats eyes are similar to the eye of the octopus right before it attacked... the cat is two octopus disguised as a cat!!! RUN AWAY.
Everyone knows octopi have two eyes!

Anyways...why does no one want to actually go to some alchemy classes?

And you called him scapheap, who seems to be on the other team.

Roll To Dodge / Finimicon: A Magical Arena: Turn 11

"Ugh... what the hell did I just drink.... Whatever... I found some interesting stuff to test. In the end maybe I'll be able to drain the blood of my victims. Ah such an interesting prospect! Though... be best to get away this room i think. I don't want people interrupt me before I can easily kill them."
Pick up the pocketwatch, quill, leather journal, Amulet of Venificus, The Soul Striker, and Dwarven Glove. Then head for room 4.
You do so. The room has a glass tablet in it.

See how well the little glass person can move around in his own, if he is fairly mobile, take off one of my shoes and ask him to try and lift it.  If they are decently strong for their size continue freeing them from the wooden wheel and get the freed ones to help me remove the rest.
I shall have an army of glass pickpockets and tiny soldiers against my enemies.  Now to just try making a still larger one!
The little guy is a bit unsteady, but can move on its own. [2+1] Between the two of you, you free two others.

I head back to room 2, pick up a rock (or any debris, really) and throw it at a slime.
You head back, grab the basalt chunk, and [6-1+1] hurl the rock directly at the opposing wall, where it ricochets through a slime and into your head! [3+2] You are unaffected.

Switch Arrow Sword with Grass Sword.
Wait for pool to top off.

Waiting, waiting, o'er the bounding main...

Draw dagger and slash my way out.
[2+1+1] Drawing your dagger, you use it to escape the foul ooze!

Ascertain what the fluid is, and take an appropriate action
The fluid which left you? Hard to tell, but you don't seem to be losing any.

-----

The remaining oozes regain their concentration. One attacks Sirius, one slithers towards Chauncey, and one moves to slam the mysterious stranger.
The one intent on re-eating Sirius
[6+1v4+1] does so, much to Sirius's dismay.
The one slithering for Chauncey gets close.
The one wanting to strike the stranger doesn't get there before he utters another spell, "En."
[2+2,3+2] Several staves fly from the wand and strike the slime, [4+1] doing little to dissuade it. [3+1v5+1] The stranger evades the slime's gooey grasp, however. Lucky him.

((You were supposed to roll for it...))
Now why would I do that? Anyone who's trying to fail can just fail.
Because failing to fail means succeeding.
But you can't fail at failing if you're trying to fail.

It was scapheap's idea, not mine. But basically, they attack with cards. Somehow.

The crystals cause magical effects other than just superpowers.

Living things do not bear a resemblance to the Creators.

Elves are not nigh-unkillable. They are, however, half-alive tree-people.

The undead "continent" is Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

Canada and Russia are in a
(sorry) cold war with each other and a mysterious group called the Black Paw.

Australia fights off periodic undead invasions.

The UK was struck by an unusually large fragment of crystal meteorite, which is slowly turning the Brittish Isles into a weird combination of Arthurian England and various Brittish stereotypes.

Africa has become a battlefield for various warlords and supervillains and what-have-you. Only the strongest states remain intact.

South America has become overrun with various strange creatures from the meteorite-affected and rapidly expanding Amazon Rainforest, the edges of which are logged at great risk and profit.

The technical term for people affected by the crystal meteorites (or otherwise made abnormal) is parahumans, but many people call them cryses (sing. crys)

North America other than Canada was affected relatively little by the direct effects of the crystal meteorite, so the United States has become a "no-man's-land" among various parahuman factions.

The phygs are planning to bombard Earth with more crystal meteorites.

The next bombardment will affect North America unusually strongly.

That's enough for this round.

What? -2? What?
That would be half from the tool and half from trying to cut a very tough crystal.

Die.
[3] You catch the flu.

What!? I spawned them to make the kill bots o.O Ah whatever..... beat down a kill bot and turn it into a build bot!
[2-2v1+1] The killbots are still powering back up, but they manage to weather your assault and return with fury.

I think Vorthon and Xantalos may have the right Idea.
...

Quote
I am human correct? Sacrifice body, spawn Statue of a terrifying god.
[6] You sacrifice yourself painfully and slowly.
To be more exact, you start to do so.

Go on killing spree!
[3] You kick someone.

Actually, chickens are delicious.

Roast myself.
[4-1] You find some embers. They're pleasantly warm.

spawn as the item spawning thing
Nah, I don't want to give out power like that again.

Respawn as eagle.
Sure thing.

see what mechs there are then make base liveable again.
[6] There's one rampaging through base! [5] You dodge out of the way and get kicked in the head!

Spread my spawn, cover the world in forests.
[6] The area is covered by trees, which attract loggers.

Spawn as a fire magi.
Examine surroundings.

Not a chance.
You are in a forest. There are two craters and a hole nearby; the larger crater is barren of trees, while the hole looks deep.

Mostly, I need backstory and perhaps a bit more gear.

34527
((For reference: Slayer meant I should do an interactive Flash exploration game. I love making those but don't have the time or resources.))
If you ever do, making one based on even just the first bit of this would be pretty dang cool.

Heh, and here I was about to suggest subsidizing the prices of brick so as to allow the citizens to rebuild their homes out of brick/build homes out of brick.
That could work, too!

Lore:Magic check
Something's up with that cat, is it a familiar?
Sometimes a cigar cat is just a cigar cat.

While Maja's is probably just smelling old man, mine is smelling a quest giver. Tell him how you're looking for a bit of work and ask him if he's got any errands he'd like you to run.
The goods sound very interesting and possibly very useful, especially the stuff like the blasting powder and star charts (in case we ever go sailing or something), but they also sound like they might be expensive, and we don't really have any income lined up for us, so I vote for being a bit cautious about buying things.
Something like this, but work our way up.
Inquire about becoming an alchemy student and acquiring introductory alchemal texts.

-Name the spiny creatures Bristlebacks.
-Have the hunters hunt bristlebacks, one scaring them into the waiting weapons of the others.
-Have the idle goblin improve the hat pen.
