...What would I do with the elevator?

Try to look busy and non-conspiratorial.

There's also the fact that, with most words, it's really hard to combine them into a single spell. And with the PM'd spells, I guess at what you mean.

It is Wednesday.... I think Ghaz is bedridden/on the surgery table
Without internetz...
True, but I first asked before he mentioned going into surgery.
Presumably, he's going to read all these posts, so he should get a reminder when he gets his splorch removed.

Do Az-sho's children count as Dwarves?
Which ones?

Fuck. And here I was hoping for a brilliant mate on the third turn.
Did you seriously think I'd let something like that be possible?

Wait, can the Dragon jump diagonally?
Yes. Why couldn't it?
Quote
straight-line direction
is how the rook moves are described and I thought of the Dragon as a jumping rook(with less range), not a jumping queen(with less range)
Ah. Dragons can move in all 8 directions, but they can't move 3 spaces up and 2 right.

Hm?
4 players, 2 teams of 2.
Essentially two games going on in parallel, on a single team you will have a white and black player. Any pieces that are lost are given to their opponent on the other board, which can be placed anywhere on the board providing it doesn't initiate checkmate, is on the first or eighth rank and replaces a normal move.
First team to checkmate wins. Simple, Fun, and utterly brilliant.
I knew that much, I just wasn't aware of any paratroopers in that game.

I thought it would be clear by how no one was talking about going ourselves and several of us were explaining all the reasons why that's a bad idea for some reason.

And if we went in person, spreading suspicions of our suspicions is hardly the worst thing that could happen.

MUCKLE DAMRED CULT! 'AIR EH NAMBLIES BE KEEPIN' ME WEE MEN!?!?"
No. Don't make me say Hastur three times.

Have I interacted with Soultaken at all? are they near the coast at all?
I'm not sure and probably. Also, wasn't Udil from the jungle? You know, where Neyravah brought him and a ton of other dwarves together to found a village? Or have you expunged that from dwarven records?

Quote
Neyravah left a big mess and I have to clean up, as usual...
They did give the Soultaken gifts. It's just that other dwarves then "domesticated" them.

Quote
You know, you guys keep talking crap about Udil, but it only shows how scared you all are (except my allies, they are cool).
If anyone's scared, they're a moron. Udil is weaker than beings who have died before; Udil can be killed. Heck, if Jim whatever gman's guy is actually named or Sebastian or someone wanted to, they could probably kill Udil single-handedly--he's no Elder God, and Udil proved that "mere" mortals can take down gods.
Udil isn't invulnerable, just more powerful than any other dwarf. He only won because Neyravah couldn't see him until moments before the deathblow and, when that happened, I...I...
*sobs a bit at the injustice*
THE ONE DAY!

Quote
And mind you, I haven't said no to any deals that would be brought to me. But noo, its only "Udil you big bully, you are nasty, etc." and yet I literally punch above my weight despite it all. Less backtalk and more respect and we all can get along. Otherwise there will be blood.
I'd propose deals, but as I have no one in the game I neither have anything to offer nor would it be proper to do so.

(Unless I got Sebastian, but I still haven't heard back on that...
You know, the Daemon guy I expressed interest in a while ago and haven't heard about un/claimed status yet...? Hint hint?)

How does he make human sounds, with his eldritch beak?
In his throat, like a parrot.

awww...
well, what a better way than have the newborns climb out of the pit, use the bathroom and eat at the same time.
None, but I fail to see why that's a goal.

Quote
the bathroom/eating area is OVER the pit, not IN the pit.
That still sounds unsanitary. Would you install a toilet in your kitchen?
Please don't answer, I want to keep my delusions about your sanity.

I regret that I cannot find a way to make those characters look like they are on fire to express the magnitude of my disapproval as well as my profound sense of irony.

"The Rat" is not a nice-sounding guy...but he has skills we would find useful, Irlof trusts him, and we can't lose anything from a meeting. I say we do it.
yes we can lose something from meeting the guy personally
he can take the info that we're digging into this mess to the count, that info might be worth something and it will really hurt us.
Where did I say Stone was the one going to the meeting?

35069
The Soultaken are the misnamed* creatures I made. They're dwarves with many dragon characteristics.

*If what I wanted happened.

change setting and try again.
Jane spins the band about to α and [20+1,8+3] get thoughtful and nervous, but realising a way she could make things lovely and tough.
um, what? It seems like you lost a few sentences there...
That setting is full of spells which make no sense whatsoever. I tried to make it make sense. I'm considering redesigning or even removing that setting.

I just thought of something...... If you can't read human, how do you read the magical word list?
What word list?
