Wait... so the thief is revealed at the end of the round and the game is reset, except for the points? So the entire game is basically a shitty 5-person mafia with absolutely nothing to base votes on, and points tacked on for no reason?
And here I was, hoping for a strategic tracking of the thief over multiple rounds, with it not being known what happened to the pot, bluffing about betting more points than you have and the person who was voted being essentially a confirmed townie and so on. Screw this, I'm out.
I was hoping for the same thing. This is kinda simplistic.
If you're not the thief, the best move is to put in as little as possible, because there's not much chance of catching the thief.
If you are the thief, the best move is to put in as little as possible, so that those points aren't halved (and, of course, to reduce suspicion).

Anyways...I vote mcclay in case Nerjin was lying and he is the thief again.

Ditch the wtfhuge sword in storage for now- it currently takes up half our inventory.
+1. Besides, we're a blood mage, not a blood swordsgirl.

Also, GWG, Unholy_Pariah, Remuthra, could do with input in the play thread........
I'm not online all day, you know.

@GWG, there was only one copy of the book. The staff and rope they can probably rustle up from somewhere.
The staff, at least, should be improviseable if not.

Quote
as for book sharing, i suppose so, but abusing this, such as passing a book round the party, will result in a severe shortage of available paper.
Okay then. I'll try to get my own copy ASAP.

"The Rat" is not a nice-sounding guy...but he has skills we would find useful, Irlof trusts him, and we can't lose anything from a meeting. I say we do it.

Purchase A begginners introduction to magic: Mechanisms*, correcting any other typos I see. Also buy a good wooden staff and 5 meters of rope. (Money remaining: 40 gold.)
Then go with the others to the kobold mound.

*Unless someone lets Kim share their copy. He'll chip in 5-10 gold if they do so.

yes, lets have people eat while using the bathroom, while giving birth.
This is a sanitary nightmare on multiple levels.

Can you not destroy the planet please? I live here you know and I'm very attached to you know..... living.
FYI, I'm sigging this. It describes my perception of Bay12 SO well...

I am not he who decides the effects of the explosion, only the one who makes sure there is one.
I'm going to try to be the other guy.
My goal is typically "None."

It will largely depend on the wound. If it is a small [Like tripping on a rock or something domesticly small] most characters will enter a "dying" state. But something large [being hit by a forcefully flung rock etc.] will result in insta-death for 1 HP people.
I'd imagine that the swiftness or presence of medical treatment also plays a role.

Reduce the temperature a bit to extend ice and reduce water, then raise some more land out of the sea to form a proper continent starting around the equator and going north.
Sounds like a good idea.

Dump sand inside a random supervolcano.
Why?

I was under the impression that she used to be human before being turned into a goblin.

Rampage across the landscape, stripping it of all resources. THE HIVE MUST GROW.
[3] You absorb the rest of Furtaka's corpse.

Respawn as SCP-001-j.
[6] You are promptly contained. Re-respawn?

Now... first things first. I gotta repair myself.

Spawn a bunch of nanobots to repair me.
[6] You spawn a number of nanobots, which consume you to turn into a Cray Ultracomputer who isn't you. Respawn?

ADVENTURE
[2] BORING.

Wait till shadowdragon respawns, then use him as a battering ram.
He doesn't. You are sad.

Go back to my metals. Stop Vorthon from using any. Start focusig on extraction into novel forms. Use computer terminals to keep stable.
[4v5] You can't stop the nanobots from eating your metals. You can, however, be sad.

Become one with the dirt!
You roll around in the dirt.

spawn a unarmed VT from Original steel battalion. Then go find a abandoned base. That is all.
Wait...how would you get a VT? Maybe you should try finding a base.
[1] You find a hole and fall in. Ouch.

The "W" and second "G" are supposed to be capitalized.

Oh, and I'm going to be working "with" Xantalos and Jbg...FUN.

look for windows to fire from. If none head down the stairs.
Stealthily run up to the northwest side of the building, grow bramble bushes.
Head down the stairs and place brambles on the threshold.
Head toward the south-west opening.
move to the opening of the building and wait there, aiming at the steps.
Stand at the entrance of the building behind the entrance wall preparing to charge out and face the worst.
Blast a hole through the north east corner with the grenade launcher, then go through the hole. Bust any heads I see.
Stand on nearest control point, draw sword and bash it on my shield to mock blue team. Then bash sword on wall to see whether that yields any bugs.

-----

The teams start their actions. [Bugs Roll: 6]
Larssen looks around for windows, before noting that the roof is completely open. He has to decide if he wants cover or quickness.
73+ [6] sneaks over to the northwest corner of the base, and ends up clipping straight through a wall! She spreads some seeds around.
Old Man Kingsley hurries down the stairs and grows some brambles indoors.
Archangel hurries for the entrance along with D.D.
John prepares for the worst, as Joe shoots the wall with grenades. The grenades pass right through! Marcus is too pragmatic not to exploit this as he sprints through the wall, capturing a point!
