You can't have goggles, gas masks, or a space program. The realism on the game is going to be high. Read everything closely.
1.Early reniassance had glassmaking, why not make goggles?
2. Gas Mask- Leather face mask.
3. Space Program- If we vault something high enough, we can get to some sort of Aether Realm!

2a. Is that airtight?
2b. If so, how do you breathe?
3. Maybe not "high," but still...

Government: The Council of Queens
History: Not so long ago, there was a mighty city in the Bug City-State. Its inhabitants were rich and well-known. Then, they made a mistake: The first Insect Spirits were summoned. They spread silently for a long time, building warring cults. Then, the war between the species of Insect Spirits became open, leading to the extermination or exile of anyone who did not convert. Since then, the Insect Spirits have reconciled their differences sufficiently to allow for a sort of congress of the Queens and other mighty Spirits to be formed, governing the city, now known as the Hive. With this new organization, the Bug City-State (as it was called by the local humans) has spread far and wide.
