Why does it bother you so much that it's called the Wall of Stars? That's most likely the mortal name for it anyway. Gods probably call it 'Shelf of Unlimited Test Run Servers' or something. And why did the mortals name it that?
Yeah, the current situation doesn't really allow for much creative roleplaying. It's pretty much just follow orders, shoot the sods in front of you, receive a number telling how much damage you did, repeat until death. This so much.
@GWG, if accurate naming is of such importance, should we rename Creation as Order, Void as Chaos, Fate as Void or Decay? Seeing as Void seems to have quite a it of stuff in it and its emphasis on rule-breaking over actual emptiness makes it more suited for a Order-Chaos system then a Creation-Destruction system considering that people are making stuff out of Void along with its lack of actual emptiness. Fate is more of an emptiness or false-vacuum decay thing after all (and actually was originally named void, its manifestation name was changed to distortion as @Scapheap had a different idea of void). If so, that could actually clear up some confusion...Indeed. Not as important, since
I suppose under such a scheme, the Wall of Stars would require a different name yet retain a poetic presence. Celestial Phantasmagoria? Wall of Scintillations? What name would you suggest that retains or has a greater poetic sense whilst still retaining accuracy?I suggested a couple earlier. The Wall of Lights seems nice, and retains essentially the same structure.
as if the quantum mechanics mumbo jumbo would reduce confusion...Confusion? Who cares about that?
And since you're complaining...1. Complaining about what?
How will Nuriel react to Luna sending Kyle a memory of Selina and her getting it on?
Here's a thought.Including the game itself. Especially if those theories about the Astral Influx being related to our control over Ciro are true.
If we really wanted to disrupt the cycle, the worst thing to do would be destroy the Astral Influx. No Ciro Soul, no target, no cycle, all is wrecked.
...until Oric un-willborns Ciro, and resets the cycle. If he can. Probably easier to get a new Target, really.
We could make various impossible plans to break the cycle and try them all until we roll a 20, since we can't just repeat one plot over and over again.-1
which you provoked over the course of you harrasing me, now either post a cute animal or be silent, on Elfs request this is now a cute animal threadOf course. Counter-arguments are harassment, and your scathing response to Elf was provoked by me! That makes absolutely no sense.
how would her killing herself change the past? How does Nuriel create fire?
I prefer to tell myself she is an animal, as facing the truth would be too discomfortingHuh?
I'm Athiest...And? I'm an atheist, I see no problem in using metaphorical Jesuses. Jesu? Jesui? Jesi?
He might drop hints as to what we need to do to avoid the bad ending. What makes you think that?
I'm talking in theory, of course. And he seems to do a much better job. Or maybe he just isn't as good at mass combat stuff.
From reading everything, PW appears to handle more smaller things better than fewer larger ones, but that also means more overhead and behind the scenes effects to manage.
Indeed, I've noticed that to. We are lucky we have been able to keep a sort of organized team structure running on these big missions. Imagine 30+ players all running around sans direction or cohesion.I'm imagining it. Not much different than what's going on now, actually.
