Suggestion time.
Critique time.

Quote
Chaos Spire. 6 manarack. Constantly shifting and mutating towering structure, changing between different styles of architectures and sometimes to things that certainly aren't architecture, in the more or less center of our fort. It does multiple things. One, being chaos, it can change what it does to a degree. Two, it projects a chaos order that dampens or nulls order magic in the vicinity. Three, that same aura allows our creations more agility, speed, intelligence, and change speed(for the growths n the Stem's hands, for example). Four, it allows other lacrimas to change what they are, though they're still the same size. Finally, it fucks with the heads of our enemies in the vicinity.
I like the sound of that.

Quote
A Living Armory. 5 manarack. Grows any small hand held, and some large, weapons we might desire on a momen's notice.
Also sounds pretty good, although why only weapons?

Quote
Two Weapon Trees. Thanks to the Chaos Spire, these can take multiple weapon plat-forms. 8 manarack each. Usually they're arboreal artillery, firing explosive gourds indirectly at far off targets. These can of course, have differenT properties, from incendiary to fungus-air bomb. They can also by Micc Wyle(read: missile) Launchers. Small, suicidal, very fast, flying creatures that can track their targets, might have a shaped charge, shrapnel, etc. Typically weaker than the gourds, but more accurate and there's just plain more of them. Anything else we can really think of for them too, to be honest.
Meh. Why use manarack on them?

Quote
A Fire Station. Big bonfire looking thing. Shoot heat rays at stuff. 7 manarack. 'nuff said.
Something like this.

Quote
That costs a total of 34, leaving us eight plus Krait's for the smaller weapons, which are easily modifiable thanks to the Spire.
I'd suggest letting Krait design some weapons and such for the fortress, too.

I'd also like it if we could have mundane weapons, too. A couple ballistae would really liven things up, and couldn't be blocked by order, cold, and death magic.

New guy. You joining the Synod?
Well, it seems like everyone else is in it, so yes.
Not quite everyone, but welcome!

Aye, if I'm in.
You want to be a Synod member?

That thingy about having archers fire in squads rather than all at once?
It sounds good. Constant arrows preventing any god time to charge.

I'm joining the Steam group.

I'd like to note that Thursday isn't a good day for me. Friday or Wednesday, maybe.

Gold is only valued for rarity. If you keep summoning it, the gold you have loses value.
It loses some, yes, but gold's value isn't entirely based on rarity. Its malleability, stability, and unreactibility (can't remember the technical term) make it highly valued for certain tasks, culture would let it retain more of its traditional value, if only for a time, and gold is really pretty.

What is it that was present in YAFB  that this game is missing?
An actual final boss to target. The Dark Lords are close, but not there yet.
There was one for a while.
Reread the OP.

Also, the upkeep, is it for all mortals, regardless of worship, or only for those under your control?
ALL mortals.

My two cents: Bring all of our militia we can spare, and who can be sufficiently armed and armored to survive the rigors of warfare.

Lead the heroes in a targeted strike against the... things in the Dark Lords' army.

The Dark Lords' minions fight the Liches, while the Dark Lords themselves fight the Heroes. [4+2v3+4] The minions suffer casualties; [4+4v6+3] the Dark Lords are beaten back.

You sure you wanna grab that?
It dispels magic... youre entire body is made of magic and if it gets dissipated or you revert...
(Don't tell him! It makes me a step closer to life!)
Dont worry, to plan to murder a replacement for saving him
Glad to hear it.

Could they be what these people did with those monster bits we sold them?

As I've explained to Roleplaygeek, the problem isn't falling asleep for one turn...it's never getting enough worshipers to get back up. Also, if I do find myself in critical need of energy, I won't just be falling asleep...
Regardless, it's good to get something like this set up for if the need ever arises.

Is this some sort of joke that only people in the US understand?
Kind of like debating if Tasmania should be classified as a dump or a prison?
To a few people, maybe.

I must say, this is even more amusing than I had hoped.
