Wait, how are you even going to breach containment? You're inanimate!

-----

((Also, my point last time was made because it's typically rude to nominate your own games.))

The hawks in leviathan didn't us razor wire, they used modified spider silk.
The whale excreted hydrogen, and was sorta hollowed out.
Yeah, neither of those seems like it would work...Certainly whales aren't the best choice for a bioairship.

The hawks in leviathan didn't us razor wire, they used modified spider silk.
The whale excreted hydrogen, and was sorta hollowed out.
The character didn't threaten the ship by shooting it, Leviathan had already taken plenty of machine gun fire. The danger was that the character was standing right next to a massive hydrogen leak.
And a gunshot will not ignite hydrogen, especially when there isn't even the proper fuel/air mixture floating about, so there was never any danger, and all they were doing was perpetuating a stupid myth.
Oh, and unrealistic explosions are such a rare, heinous crime.

Here's an idea.

Remember how my guy was an exiled king?

Could we have the map be said king's (former?) castle?

2500g worth of copper coins
Minus 25% for Whatshisface, that's 1,825 total. Set aside 25 for a Party Fund, that leaves each of us with 300 gold of pocket change.

I MUST update tonight! MUST! NOT! RUIN! PERFECT! RECORD!

Yay nomination!

With Gyrados in tow, capture five more badass pokemon.
[5] You get, um, Dragonite, Alakazam, Snorlax, Charizard, and Starmie.

Magic girls do what, I must become stronger, time to unlock more true potential.
[2] They sort of squint and stuff but don't get more powerful.

Examine conclusion.
It seems legit.

respawn, kill Ned flanders.
[2] You fail. [4+2v4] Ned [SPOILER EXPUNGED] and kills you. Temporarily.

UNLEASH MY FULL WATERMELON SUMMONING POTENTIAL
[4] You summon THREE watermelon slices!

Blast off into deep space
Become gigantic galaxy-spanning network of Von Neumann machines like in SOTS or Spin, Axis, and that last book.

[2] You do not escape containment.

Kill self. Respawn outside containment cell.
Regain +1 to summoning Hats if lost.

[3,5] You respawn right outside of Site-N01 and increase your bonus for summoning hats!

Free allies from containment, prevent the foundation from containing Knight Tiger. Utilize +3 bonus.
Who, exactly, are your allies?

BOSS TURN:
The Dark Lords and the Liches clash! [2+4v1+6] The Liches gain some ground and will get a +1 bonus next round if I remember.
HFCTM [2] tries to get a college degree in engineering but flunks.
The various random people try to determine motivation. They might be recruitable.
The Foundation tries to contain NSCP-005, 006, and 008. [6-1v4+2+1] Thanks to Doomblade's help, NSCP-005 escapes containment; utilization of SCP-076-1 suggested. [6-1v2] NSCP-006 recaptured. [2-1v3-1] NSCP-008 is not captured, despite dying █ times. The doctors decide they could use something new...[6-1] They discover a strange tuxedo, which bonds with Agent [REDACTED]. Former NSCP-007 reclassified as NSCP-009 and new anomaly classified as NSCP-007 at the request of Dr. Bright.
NSCP-007: A possibly-intelligent tuxedo. When donned, it forms a bond with the user. Effects of this bong include an enhancement of the user's proficiency with a wide variety of techniques and weapons. NSCP-007 also seems to manipulate probability towards success for the wearer, as well as strongly affecting members of the opposite gender. NSCP-007 also seems to affect the personality of the wearer, causing them to become less risk-averse and more outgoing.
The universe's ripped and shredded state causes [5] a weird loop thingy where this section of the world loops around, kinda like a portal from 350 meters that way to 275 meters that way. Anomaly classified as NSCP-010.

First off, could we have a link to the OOC thread or our character sheets in the OP of the IC thread?

Second off, how much copper was in that room again?

Bumping for locatability.

I feel like those ideas were wavering between serious and joking?  I also missed the reference.
Completely serious.  And it's a sci-fi book set in the time leading up to WWI, where the allies use genetic engineering to create some genuinely awesome shit.  Such as giant flying whales for airships, that use bees to collect food, has hawks trailing razor wire to fuck up planes, and bats that shit flechettes over a target when they see red light.  They also have Kraken, and large wooly mammoths for tanks.  And that's just scratching the surface.
None of those sound practical, and few sound possible.
Think of the bees as miners gathering oil for feeding an engine, the kraken would actually be pretty effective against ships, since they could just pull them under if they were made strong enough, or just be strong enough to crush the ship, the hawks served the same purpose as barrage balloons, which were very effective against planes, by the way, and the bats would be an effective delivery system, since they could function with great effect both day and night, and if one goes down, it's no big deal, since they only carry one of two flechettes anyways.  And the whales were about as practical as an airship, which is to say incredibly practical.
The bees sound useful for field operatives perhaps, the kraken might if it wasn't for issues like feeding or torpedoes, barrage balloons don't need to breathe, how would one get a bat to excrete flechettes pointy-side-out and without harming the bat, and how would you get a whale to fly.
1) No torps
2) True, but barrage balloons also can't move
3) I. We're fucking magical II. We can have them grow in a tract separate from the digestive tract
4) I. We're fucking magical II. We have a fucking air magical friend III. Hydrogen can be excreted from the digestive tract, or possibly methane, if we wish for less processing.
1,3,4: We were--well, I was talking about the original book.
2: I can more easily imagine a mobile balloon than a hawk big enough to carry substantial amounts of razor wire and also capable of flying at 30-40,000 feet.

Also, for our ships we can use the firejackets to replace the bees, and the Leviathan's greatest weakness; eg, being constantly on the verge of exploding throughout the series, to the point where one of the protagonists nearly blew it up with a pistol, can be nullified through fire magic.
Hydrogen won't actually detonate due to a gunshot.  The aggressor would have to be packing incendiary bullets.  But since we're in a world with gods of fire, maybe we would want to do just that.  Also, +1 to the firejackets if the firenectar also contains enough nutrients for the ship to survive.  Although bees may be preferable since they're a little more innocuous than the firejackets, but then again, we can start colonies of the fire jackets along the way, for some added firepower, right?
Firejackets also have simpler metabolic requirements (heat rather than flowers of the right kinds), produce a useful good, and can be used for combat purposes.

Greet him respectfully, introducing yourself as the newest golem maker in the village.
That works. Start by saying something like, "Yes, I am."

Alright, Hit them again - This time with "Duzk"!
Hit what? Six centipedes have skedaddled, two are lying dead.

I have not. And no, it is neither of those things, though they're close.
Ah.
Art, perhaps?
