A future construct. It will be a use for the byproducts of our furnaces so we don't scrape them into the stream. Plus that stuff is pretty strong, especially in those times. It can also be molded into perfectly square blocks VERY EASILY. We could make a concrete road now that I think of it, or is that beyond our tech?
I'm not sure if the concrete is worth it right now.
I'd suggest starting with gravel.
When we get to that point of actually producing the stuff. In the meantime, gravel is acceptable. I also suggest pathing out our roads to the farms of out peoples and connecting it to the mainroads of the county. Also I suggest, along that mainroad and path a series of picture signs showing that we have an inn, market, and port.
I agree with the signs, but shouldn't we make a small portion of road where it's most needed and see how it holds up before wasting all that time and effort on a road that might not even last a year?

"This mall could make a decent base, I guess..."

Search through the mall for various forgotten or abandoned items, as well as a good place to live.

That's what I get for trying to be subtle-like.
You could just Pm that action to me.
The benefit of my subtlety method is that you should have seen the addendum when you quoted my action to post the turn.
Yes, except I copy and paste people's posts into a word document, before writing up the posts in the word document to save time.
Ah.
...Try the quote button? It's what I do.
Or I could do this. Just highlight my whole post.

Would you, by any chance, mean Turn 10?

Also, would anyone be willing to sell food for reagents or money?

"Good for now."

Put books in a safe place. Study in the library; if not possible, study the purloined books. Focus on Earth magic, that sounds useful.

Dingdingdingdingding!
What's your riddle, and do you think you could have solved it without my hint?
without the hint, I would have looked for an entire phrase...
I see.

Quote
In spring I am gay in handsome array;
in summer more clothing I wear;
when colder it grows I fling off my clothes;
and in winter quite naked appear.What am I?
A tree. Kash, what's your riddle?

@GWG+All Devils: In light of the recent betrayal, I propose all Devils donate 10 influence to GWG to make a Lesser God of Laws to police our demons. If they disobey our commands, do not attempt to obey them, obey them only partially, or attack us or others without our knowledge, they will be hunted down and destroyed. Possibly, an angel of law could serve the same for imps, although such would be more symbolic.
This will be put through the Synod.
Nice to have something for the Synod to do.

A. A proposal to Create a Lesser God of Laws
Due to discipline issues among the demons, it has been suggested that a new god be created for the task. This will involve charging all member devils approx. 10 mana, which will be contributed to Draco, who will create said god. Other donations would be advised, as the estimated cost of a lesser god is over 100 Worship.

About the trogs, how about instead of making them like serving us just make them enjoy working hard.  Sort of like how dwarves are industrious, these could be similar.  It doesn't force them to work for us or to perform specific tasks but it does make them try their best at everything they do which would make them good citizens.
I can dig it
I like the idea of making them motivated, or high achievers. Rather than restricting their abilities, it encourages them to reach higher and higher, helping them improve their position. I approve.
As long as we allow them to also enjoy lazing about for at least a day or so. They could still resent us if we force them to work every day or risk utter boredom.
Oh, of course. We shouldn't remove their ability to enjoy leisure. I imagine a simple drive for self-improvement would lead to as many master card players as master masons, or whatever.

Let me clarify. Build mine, complete and get up and running the mill, Tell the new captain to begin culling and breaking our militia and recruits into badasses and to utilize our obstical coarse and swim in the river while also training combat skills. Forge them into warriors.
Also hire anyone without work to do who is willing to do so to take some of the waste stone from the mine and make a gravel road by the docks and/or market.
Like a mason? We could also make bricks of concrete with slag when we get our furnace up and running... Or just regular bricks, we DO have a very successful working kiln after all.
I'd suggest using bricks for construction, or firing up the kilns for trade goods. And we don't have any furnaces.

Are you guys actually going to do anything, or will you just talk about Alcubierre Drives and Golemception?
The guy who ran this hasn't been updating, so we ran out of ways to say talk to the head carpenter.
Let's try some new ones from Google Translate!

Quick question: What do you think is the craziest spell to have been cast in this RtD so far, piecewise or anyone else?
