"Before all this? Well...not much to say, I guess. Son of a warrior, Raised in a cave. Humans found silver nearby and turned the cave into a mine, the tribe retreated farther back. Plague came, a mad orc came, humans and an elf came to drive him out, I had to leave the cave. Lived in the wilds a bit. Wound up living in a human town for a while. Not much else I'm willing to talk about."

It takes a very special kind of kerbal to test something like this, but we have one up to the task!



It explodes. Lengan is okay, though!

A redesign adds more LSEs (three along the bottom, including one right behind it). That one explodes, too. I note that the problem seems to be coming from the Mainsail detaching itself from the Radial Attachment Point. Solution: Add a Rockomax Adaptor in between, and attach two LSEs to that.
It does not explode! Moreover, Jebediah (wait, I thought I sent the other guy...) gets an excellent flight...




He gets nearly five kilometers away from the cannon before splashing down. I call that a partial success! Next step: How much would it take to launch something with such a cannon?
Let's start with a small projectile the expendable than a kerbonaut. Pretty expendable, then.



Looks good.

That probe made it about as high as Jeb did, but only got a couple kilometers away and it glid back to about 1.6 kilometers away before crashing. I'll stick to kerbonauts, I guess. Now, how to orbit them?

c) it's not actually *stars*. Thanks for reading with enough attention to notice that the *stars* in this sphere of existance are different from the stars in the mortal realm. so stop putting your unbased anger in friggin italics. Follow the posts right after this, for a question being asked and answered and notice, there are no actual stars in the walls of stars.
1. Point to where mortal-realm stars are mentioned.
2. If the things in the Wall of Stars aren't stars, why did you call them that?!?

Then let it also be noted that this is not a "first grab, first serve" method of loot distribution, its an "if you want loot, stop destroying it all" method.
My mistake, it sounded like you were advocating the former.
