Reload. Survey the scene.

((That's a lot of red squares))
((Said red squares are guards, right?))

Against my better judgement, don the necklace. Then, delve deeper into the pyramid.

"Vasprio, ye damful!"

Shoo the goblins into the main fortress, before running after them and walling off the stairs. Also wonder why there are two staircases up and only one down.

Slick back fur. Find Arthur and tear his throat out.
And here I was going to offer to let you in the alliance.

Convince...whoever Mr. FancyPants's character is to not shoot Billy.
Offer Billy a spot in the alliance.
Barricade the door!

Colony Name: The Earldom of the Brave Romance (Analee Island).
Economy: Based on tourism, literature, and a type of fruit which grows well in the foggy climate of the Earldom.
Ruler Name: Earl Timertikos Cardial
Reason for Colonization: The climate and fruit

Description: The Earldom of the Brave Romance is composed of a large island (also called Analee), covered mainly in forests but with about a third cut down for farmlands. It is typically shrouded in what may be called either mist or fog, depending on your personal poetic preferences, although "fog" is more common. The most notable indigenous species are a type of large, flightless robin (called the Sunrise Robin for the male's plumage) and Morningglow, a bush which grows sweet, juicy berries that make a fine wine. The forests are full of natural beauty and animals which do not fear humans. While the Earl has restricted hunting to a bare minimum, nonhunters are perfectly allowed to enjoy the forests. Much money flows into the Earldom from noble couples coming here, or rich singles searching for something. Many artists, especially authors, reside in the Earldom, creating art known the world over. A more tangible export is the products of the Morningglow bush, notably the famed Sun Wine made from the berries. Timertikos is a fairly laiezz-faire ruler, for the time; individual towns have a remarkable degree of independence. Despite this, the Earldom has a fairly well-trained militia which is known to be very loyal to the Earl.

Magic not working well for you?

I'll try that if when my current Stephen dies.

Either this is a trap, or these guys are bigger fools than I thought.

Approach front door, listen.

Keep unspoilered, pick a plant, investigate Thing.

I will harbor you, GWG, if anyone feels too pissed at you.
I thank you greatly.

Natural armour doesn't stack.
Actually, it does. Amulets of Natural Armor enhance the pre-existing Natural Armor bonuses. Quoth the DMG, page 246: "...giving him an enhancement bonus to his natural armor bonus..."

Why is Diplo obsolete? Level eleven Politico can wipe the field out. Bcuse of his GWG dragon friend. And the three level twenty wizards. And the guy who happens to be a god.
It's obsolete because we already have a diplomancer.
The more the merrier, neh? It's always nice to have a backup, or someone to offer a second opinion.

Bcuse of his GWG dragon friend.
Hello? You called?

Here's a compromise; turn those trogolodytes into chameleon doppelgänger things to be our spies.
but we already have a spy.  I think.
Not one that can fake humanity, let alone fake being a specific person. Which is a weakness with shapeshifters; either they show up as a stranger, or they take the place of a person who's still around and probably do a poor job of imitating him/her. The influence fungus or whatever sound more versatile.
Or we create things similar to what that other chaos dude has.
Remind me, what are the practical differences between that and some form of mind-influencing fungus?

Yeah, but chameleons also function as scouts, being able to blend in with the enviro as well.
We've already got good scouts; no need to water down a new creation to give us more.

"To each their own. There are, actually, some settlements of dwarves--mostly along the coast, but there's some living inland as well. There's not a lot of settlements...but why is that a bad thing?"
