((Wait, does this make me the soldier? Wyrm, I recommend that you get yourself a quick-fix, and we could be in for some ass-kicking of the highest level...
I've never understood the Quicck-Fix. Is the increased rate of healing really worth never being able to Uber?
(Bear in mind, when I do play TF2 I'm pretty bad...)

Seriously, this is looking more and more like TF2 by the minute. Corai is being spy, scapheap is being scout...))
Everything turns into TF2 after a while. Give it time, it'll become DF as well, and we'll have Ubercharged axelords surfing magma floods into hordes of scouts or something.

GWG, can ryou remember the name of a trope for me? It's the one where someone says somethign lke "well that's the worst that could happen" or, "haha, I always have THIS to save me", or "At least the really bad thing which I have no defense against didn't happen" and then, for irony, it's taken away, or something bad happens? Could you remind me of that name?
Tempting Fate?
But Tempting Fate is so much Fun!

Besides, this sniper has already gottenyou twice now, AND you are geting a negative one for being covered in pee.
Since when does Jarate carry between respawns?

I suggest we try to reason a bit with them, including subtle reminders of just who--rather, what--they are trying to bargain with.

Well, we could make tiny golems and have those golems make more tiny vessels while we make more sigils.
That assumes that the golems can do more than "grunt work" (e.g. chipping off bits of mountain) when making a golem. And Fine golems need Fine sigils...

He increased upkeep by 20% of the world population not 20% of your followers if I'm correct.  So that means you would need to have over a certain percentage of the world's population as your followers in order to maintain a positive upkeep.  This really leaves you with a couple options:

1: Join a pantheon to share followers and thus increase your overall followers to the point at which your income is positive.
2: Convert more people possibly through stealing them from another god/devil (which will potentially put them to sleep).

Maybe he's trying to get us to either ally or kill each other.
Oh carp...what do I need to do to form a Pantheon, again? Could the Synod be one? We've done a lot of work...

((Oh, and RPG, IMHO you should have named that extra cost something other than "upkeep".))

I thought Delmas was a demon.....
Nope, fairy courtier.
(Am I using the correct spelling of fairy?)

Oh, and one last thing. I've been acting as a sort of secretary for the Synod. However, if Draco falls asleep (and, barring massive evangelization, a change in the rules, or enormous depopulation which doesn't affect my followers, I probably will), I wouldn't feel justified in continuing to work in the Synod since my character wouldn't be. Thus, we need a new secretary for when that should happen.
Basically, the secretary needs to keep an (open) list of notes about the status of the Synod, its laws, all proposals, etc, as well as making the proposals into specific, formal language. Anyone want to volunteer?

I agree with the Quest for the Holy Still, and possibly a priest.
We should make the festival an annual tradition. I think the economic and morale boost is worth the price
Agreed on both points. (Consider organizing the Fairest Maiden contest officially next year. Or at least officially recognizing it or something.)

I vote water>wind for mills, and would like to point out that alcohol is a pretty good trade good...which we can even sell to our own people!

you guys actually managed to jinx it by how overblown it got. I don't feel like continuing this right now. I will try to look at it tomorrow though.
So yeah I think that is a pretty condemning post, even if he isn't saying 'stop it', he's clearly getting tired of such things. Its not even your game. Infact, we are all getting tired of it.
...Missed that that was the GM saying that.  :-[

(Just for the record, I'm not going to post an action until I understand how I could solve the Worship issue. Sounds like it has something to do with having to pay upkeep on worshipers...which, if accurate, means I'm screwed.)

"Let see if I can remember how to hunt with a sword from my army days"
"Um...sure. Anyone here know how to find corpses with magic?"

Tear off the tail. Stab it in the eye with said tail spear.
Or, if you insist on stabbing it with itself, break off a tooth first.

get Cherish killed

How do you get .gifs like that?
...Or at all?

damn. if only we had out of character knowledge.........
Since Ciro is dead, Rilitia is a huge wormy monster, and Cherish wasn't around when we had that happen, I'm going to be using this principle to ignore freeformschooler's "help".

No, I increased everyone's upkeep; gods pay 20% of the population as upkeep, devils 10, fae don't give two shits.
Wait.
Okay, I knew you were increasing upkeep...
BUT WHY DID YOU ADD UPKEEP TO THE THING THAT LETS US GAIN WORSHIP?!?!?!
If my 34 upkeep is mostly due to the worshipers I have, there's no way I could get enough worshipers to get back into Worship-profit...EVER.
If it's mostly due to other things (which it really shouldn't be--I don't have much), then it shows that gods can have almost NOTHING if they don't want to go night-night.
Which error was made?
(Wouldn't it have made more sense to increase the upkeep of everything requiring upkeep by 20-30%?)

Why do I keep switching the A and the D in Eladrin?
Because Eldar is another name for Tolkien Elves and Warhammer 40k Elves.
It's also the main name of WH40k's Space...
THE ELADRIN ARE NOT ELVES!

Ehh, I should have known I wouldn't get in the Pantheon. Irregardless, I would like to give a proposal to the Synod;

We should all gather our armies and weapons to destroy the Beast of the North, and stop it's destruction that will undoubtedly get worse with time.
Sure.

A. A Resolution to Mitigate the Harm the Beast to the North would Cause
As the death of Delmas indicates, the unknown Beast of the North is a danger to the world and ourselves. Therefore, we the Synod affirm that we should gather an armed army of sorts to investigate this beast, and either slay it before it can destroy us, or if this is possible attempt to befriend it and perhaps use it to better Divalcatraz.
(Good?)

thats what I said!!!

Keep in mind, it killed/almost killed a demon
When'd that happen? I just remember it killing Delmas.

You're trying to make a golem the size of a mountain, but my suggestion to make many teeny tiny golems and have them swarm enemies is ridiculous >.>
I'd like to know if we can make either.

That's like saying the Pyramids were easy to make, while a wooden block in the shape of a pyramid is much harder.
It takes more labor to make the Great Pyramids of Giza, but it took a LOT less precision. Precision seems to be the factor Scapheap's worrying about, perhaps because we can always take more time for the labor but never for precision...
