Have to jump in now, sorry.

GWG, you realize of course, that it isn't that simple? I don't mean to be rude, but you have to take into account that if the golems ever move, anything that might be contained in the legs or arms is fucked, so only the torsos can effectively contain stuff, unless they aren't supposed to move, which would be pointless to have a golem for it in that case. The floors take up quite a bit of space, people will want quite a bit of space, any ladders and other stairs, stuff like that, takes up space...
1. The floors and ceilings were accounted for in the 10-foot height-per-room.
2. These are just rough estimates.
3. Where did you expect this to be anywhere near practical again?

Quote
You are being quite generous with your space though, but that wasn't the point. If we were to make a 50,000 foot tall, 2 foot wide, 1 foot thick golem, that would be 100,000 feet. Not very realistic, must the point is that you can't merely measure it in cubic feet; there will be wasted space, as humans don't like living in spheres...
Again, this is just estimates. Think of it as a Fermi problem for golem cities.

Didn't we send the Justicar to Maher?

And I agree with that plan, except that we should put the luminescent fungus on the ceiling before we grow moss, and that we use Boon-Enhanced people to make it grow faster (rather than waste our power doing so--Boons seem to be more efficient).

Ah well.

I like the idea of using Golems as a base.

Super-powered flying Golems.

...that makes me think of Tiberius from the You Are A New God game...
And it makes me think of that Golemsmith game, and the calculations I just made about how big we'd need to make a golem that houses a small town.

Anyways.

Golems (made by Azem), with wings (Alrezar), as well as magical abilities including light (me), and Aura of Peacefulness (me, Jim), some defensive abilities (Usael), some sort of Flamey Death Attack (Azaroth), and whatever Javier, Cupitas, and Inithis come up with to add. So...Synod Seraphim?

No problems. Although isn't the Afterlife big enough to hold its current souls?
Yep, but defenders are needed, and we may get ambitious and try to improve it to *3 standard by adding pleasant things (IMO, Just increasing space will not help)
Afterlife is our base, in case if everything else screwed. + Major mana producer (It produces more than real world currently)
Hm. Good points...still, if it's about at maximum--
Wait, is the maximum per soul 2 mana or 3?

More numbers that don't require 10,000 people:

The DMG lists a small town as 900-2,000 people. Assuming 1,500, that's 500*1,500*10=7,500,000 cubic feet. Divided up, that's 60,000 cubic feet per cube, which is about 64,000, which has a cubic root of 40. 40*9=360, *2 is 720. Reducing our ambitions to a small town probably cuts construction time in half and material cost by at least 8.

A golem for a single family to live in would probably require about 1,000 square feet, or 10,000 cubic feet in the torso, for cubes of about 80 cubic feet each. That's a cubic root of 4. Four times nine is 36, times two is 72 feet tall. (This house would probably have three or four floors of 8x28 feet each, big enough for two or three rooms each.) This golem would be normal-Colossal and therefore take about 16 times as long, probably a month or two of work. Oh, and just to note...

If we went insane, and had a city-sized golem inhabited by house!golems, it would need to be something like 16 times as tall (somewhere almost 200,000 feet tall, or almost 40 miles tall) and take three decades or so of work to build, not counting the almost-a-millennium it would take to actually make those 10,000 golems. If we had a few hundred apprentices, we could do it. Otherwise? Not without immortality. (And 30,000-50,000 people.)

I should have had that idea earlier, but maybe it's not too late and krait will let us to do the last boost

Grant Azula chaos passive boon (one that don't require active skill). It's a shield that turns harmful elements launched at Azula, to another element , probably unharmful
I like this idea.

But that would mean a dead Outer suck can be used a bridge across the acid pool!
+1, when relevant.
Indeed.

The only better president I could get is Theodore Roosevelt with just about anything.
Andrew Jackson was pretty badass too.
Teddy got shot once. He finished his speech before getting medical attention. Jackson's badass, but Theodore Roosevelt has him beat.
Andrew Jackson did this:

Andy's awesome, but Teddy's memetically awesome.

You're all gonna die soon.
Aw.

I agree with you it looks uber strong and hard to counter. Problem is that it's badly damaged and we know nothing about it. It's hard to make it work, don't you think? But... After some reconsideration I agree with this... We are buying repair tools, so may also use it for the task....
Thanks.

I most certainly agree with getting a home for the AI.

Yeah, I'll just finish the game with an arm made of ice.
I'll probably die trying to turn my legs into magical energy to stop me from dying.
