Ok Proposal to punish Javier for the great plague.Crap, I forgot to write those up.
I will vote nay.
I'm not going to bother to argue. Just to point out...you did cause destruction, none of your domains are "nice" or particularly positive, and we haven't threatened anyone who is innocent with anything.I am a god of War, Chaos, and Madness. I am not seen as evil nor have i acted evil. You however are threatening innocents with plague, death, and annihilation. Your Synod is corrupt, and Chaos will always be here to save the world.QuoteI am still a God. And I will not be killed without a fight! I will never stop striving to protect the world and her people. I will stop your killing of the innocent unbelievers, i swear it!Hah, you protect the world. I'm not pro-innocent-killing, though.I swear, when I wake up I am marching straight to the atheist city and telling them that they're cool with me, and that I love the shit out of them.Hah. Hahahaha. Haha. There are so many things wrong with that...you're a god known for evil and destruction, you're telling atheists you don't need them to believe in you, etc...

-snip-"Those large, reptilian beasts the dwarves hunt. The ones with long tails and necks? And pillarlike legs?
I don't think that we need to buy new main weapon right nowThe unknown weapon isn't a weapon, it's a potential plot point.
a) We need to replace something to install something... missile launcher\laser\railgun. I don't want to sell anything of those
b) With 4.5 power we have troubles powering weapons that we have now, no point to increase firepower without new reactors
Turret is an unimportant system. It's not main gun, and we aren't defenseless if we turn it off. And turrets sensors\targeting is independent from the main ship, that what autonomous mean
And we start trusting the AI we may link the turret with the system, doubt it's hard to do.... But I prefer to have AI in the system that is designed to be autonomous, not try to firewall it inside our main system
We should destroy him before he wakes up!No objections, but I'd advise you to start another motion...heck, I'll start it.
And I call for a vote to condemn Javier for killing a bunch of people that one time, during the dark rein of...HER.See below.
What should we call that anyway? The Great Plague?Good idea.

I really am the only god left, once Jebyg finally stops posting random crap to do whilst asleep...being a monotheistic god is a big responsibility...thankfully, I have a bunch of other powers to dump part of the work on!

"No love, it was the elves that almost killed our race not humans, these men kill our enemies, have you not heard the old saying, we should let them live, give them orders to give to their leader and start a diplomatic mission. A strong man can win a fight, a smart man can make the fight win itself"+1
Good thing we're only giving them to half a dozen, then.QuoteSo? Showing outsiders that even peasants get magical powers would show how kind, loving, and powerful we are.We simply can't afford to give everyone boons. Nice if we could, but we can't.
Why not? They get a chance to excersize their powers, share their findings, and the experience is gained by five people.QuoteBut Mr. Ranger, this IS a game! And all games have to have stupidly simple mechanics for XP!All games may not, but it's still doesn't make sense if having more people sharing the same task, thus decreasing the amount of work for each of them, would get the same amount of xp from it as if they were alone.
Could have sworn we did...QuoteMore relevantly: Laskus's awesome was in part due to the boon Maher gave him.We still don't know that Maher gave him a boon.
Mana's worthless if we don't use it. Besides, if we spread the magic around, we get more people interested and therefore interested in converting, meaning that we get a long-term mana gain. It's an investment.QuoteAnd helping agriculture isn't helpful...?It is only minorly helpful, when we could do something more helpful with the mana. If we had a sort of cash crop, then it would be more helpful, because we could buy more things with it.
1. Your assumption was that they were spreading fast. That's a stupid assumption. For all we know, we could be harvesting them at an unsustainable rate and just haven't noticed...Quote1. Assumptions. Besides, at some point we're going to be expanding faster than our bloodmelons can grow...1. Not random assumptions. We have enough food now, or else we would have someone saying "we don't have enough food!" The bloodmelons also do not grow many seeds, so it's reasonable that they haven't maxed their growth yet. We may have enough food later, or we may not, depending on the relative growth rates, but there's no point in addressing that unless we know it needs to be addressed.
2. The people that will hopefully be flocking to us, or who we build homes for to evangelize?
3. Opinion. Either way doesn't change the general facts.
4. Fair point.
5. Heh heh. Here I thought it was required for life...
6. ...By getting boons and the skills they learn by using them, which can't be learned any other way?
2. We can put Eldrick on that, and as for evangelism, there are probably better ways to do that than littering other gods' towns with giant mushrooms.
3. Not an opinion. Fact: We do not know how effective evangelism with that boon is. Assumption: It is better to know something works before doing it en masse.
6. The children (mage children), not the people with the boon. And you can't teach if you have no skill in it, what would you teach then?
Lightning jumps seem more like a Maher-boon than an ability vampires would get.QuoteThen what was that lightning jumps? 99% that it's a boon. 1% is that it's a permanent modification (that's even costlier then boons)I assumed it was a part of his original creation, like the fact that new Laksus can regenerate. It doesn't say either way, so the point is moot.
Nope, That's diversity for the sake of diversity. I want to improve our economy with concentrated plant booning, And I don't wanna to repeat all my reasons+1
If you want combat fire mages add them in addition to that planters not instead, and I'll support adding as many apprentices for Azula as you want...
And I am especially against giving chaos boons to anyone untested. Even Alchemist was like 70%good\30%bad decision for me
No, it's like playing a cleric instead of a fighter. They're both useful, but neither is inherently superior and neither is involved in an arbitrary R/P/S arrangement. Especially since we're not involved in a Farm-Off.Nope, That's diversity for the sake of diversity. I want to improve our economy with concentrated plant booning, And I don't wanna to repeat all my reasonsHaving only life would be like only using rock in Rock, Paper, Scissors.

We could get rid of the chaos boon in favor of another life boon, since they are more helpful right now. However, we should still keep the fire boons. I'd just like to caution against having too many of the same. It could be our undoing.Seeing as plants are pretty versatile with the right creations, it's not as bad as it sounds.
Speaking of which, we should check up on the alchemist, see how he's doing.Well, duh.
Azula has a pretty simple ability; it's known that she can throw fireballs and -blasts.Nope, That's diversity for the sake of diversity. I want to improve our economy with concentrated plant booning, And I don't wanna to repeat all my reasonsAzula is about our least untested person.

I'm trying to figure out if I should support my crazy action. No lick it! So hungry! Must.. take.. a.. bite! No! Bad boy.
Stab to death first, THEN we eat.
No, a golem with a city built onto it!Just imagine when we can make Colossal+ golems...hundred-foot behemoths and walking castles...Make a city made entirely of golems...
I wonder if peace would make you drop a tier in a fight, like how battle makes you rise a tier.Who cares? Peace is the art of not going to war.
That would be funny;P

And why I think that puting AI on charge on turret is quite safe even if we don't trust him. Those are three very dangerous things to happen. We should at least verify sanity before thinking about that.
He can do 3 dangerous things
a) use turrets to fire at us
b) don't fire turret at enemies
c) Fire at neutrals to provoke them
But all this will lead to his own death, something that he shouldn't be interested in.
He can't get control on all ship, kill us, and act on our own if turret will stay unlinked to the rest of the computer system (That mean that this turret need it's own sensors and targeting, but it's logical for an automatic turret)
