Keep him alive, but out of the picture if possible. We don't want someone to kill him in self defense. In fact, what do you think about building a prison for beings who we cannot kill, but need to deal with in some way or another? We've got Azem's earth powers, Usael's protection magic, and Cupiditas' powers of restraint at our disposal, and we could probably make a divine Alcatraz somewhere.

Aye
Once we get this resolution passed, we can start one commissioning Dalcatraz, after discussing it. I have an idea to go along with it...

Several ideas:
One roleplayish:
I propose to ban organized agriculture, making our first divine law gathering wild melons should be enough to cover food needs, another obvious option is to use life boons to grow food on the spot from found wild plants ( Still think we should grant many minor life boons, 20 mana daily is a very minor cost)
Why harm our citizens like that?

Quote
And we may bless the whole area, to make all local wild plants edible (or have edible parts)  eliminating the need for agriculture forever
Or we could, you know, let our citizens lives continue unhindered and save mana.

Quote
I really dislike the idea to accept the proposal of the goddess, we have many friends and economical partners, why hurt them? We have a road to Krait, we receive caravans from Urist, we trade with the city. And we know nothing about her to upgrade her economy that much
And chaos gods should support free trade, not some discriminatory deals.
The monopoly is only on firenector, correct? We can still sell flamerum to the dwarves and burning salves to Krait.

Quote
talk with souls! Search for ones with useful skill  that want to return to life, it's not hard to either create new human body for them or making firejackets at least barely sentient (Sentient firejackects may give somewhat fewer mana at first, but they multiply. Fast! If one firejacket will have minimal free will and generate 1\100 mana, eventually they'll generate hundreds of it)
No huge problems here, but I'm a bit doubtful on giving firejackets microsouls.

Quote
How the fuck do we intend to start a proper civilization without agriculture, eh?
Pffff, I wrote that
Life boons, take the seed and rise on the spot. No need for fields. And gathering from chaotic forests
Or...grow it all in one place. Cheaper for us, simpler for the humans, and doesn't require a big shift in professions.

Quote
Quote
How the hell will our people eat with the scant things growing in the forest? Not everything develops fruit.
Modify the forest
We can do that while retaining agriculture.

Quote
And big no  to expanding the afterlife, now.Feast, tournament and caravan can't be skipped
Well, not now, but we should soon. It's crowded.

So.

Wood does have less HP. (Told you so.)
Clay takes more damage from slashing weapons, but less from blunt and has more HP.
Stone takes more damage from blunt and less from slashing, in addition to having the same HP as clay.
Clay is the fastest of these to make, while stone is the slowest.

...I see why the Golem of Prague was made of clay, as will be ours.
Agreed. Clay all the way.
Until we get a forge of course.
And knowledge of how to use it. And metal. And fuel. And time.
But yes.

And now for the obligatory new creature idea. Fuse a horse or something with a tree(or just use bone) so it's attached to it's cart, the cart is a part of it, it's more mobile, hopefully faster, and we can start growing wagons. When they're babies, it's like they have a small wagon or bucket on wheels behind them, like the little red wagons kids get, when they're reaching their prime, they'll have big carts, and as middle age and old age sets on, and they become slower anyway(but no less strong) then they have full blown wagons. And they've got the temperaments of well bred work horses; amicable enough, but they want to be doing something, and so are okay with working. And also they won't listen to many other than their owner/trainer. We should be able to sell them, and we don't want The Enemy to steal our supplies by offering them a carrot. They have the side effect of being chariots in war...
Sounds like an...interesting idea, but how would it be better than a horse-drawn cart?

i'm not sold on the sentience thing, mostly because I forsee it makeing them a handfull and harder to controll (while that would also be fun and fitting for a chaos god, hmmm maybe I do like the thought of sentience in a masochistic way)
here is a suggestion I have though for Stems being "EVERYWHERE", in neutral areas they should only sprout as a benign and a smaller variant (less intrusive maybe even helpfull). Sprouts in a certain area will only become warriors if we wish it so and feed them some chaos energy.
having them smaller and helpfull when they spread to peacefull lands means that they (and in extention we) wont be stepping on godly toes asmuch.
gods might even enjoy the helpfull stems in their domain.
and a hefty population of benign stems in a gods domain that recently proved hostile against us. will make that god have to deal with the next generation of stems as warriors. sort of like a trojan horse.
Why not just retain control over them like we do? Then we won't have to worry about spread (they won't get planted farther away than we want them to be) or "stepping on others' toes" (because they won't do so unless we want them to).
Unless you mean "when they're sentient," in which case STILL no because it would cripple or at least reduce our ability to make soldier Stems in the field for neverending waves of soldiers. I'd rather just indoctrinate them to listen to us, somehow or another. Or make the Buds/sentient Stems a separate species from the warriors.

For the eventual new Chaos Golems, we should use our abundant copper. Tiberius is iron or steel I think but copper is something we have a lot more of and besides our Lieutenant should naturally be considerably better.
Agreed.

We also really need to fix our saps.  The whole growth time thing isn't really that much of a problem, it's more that we now get rather small numbers per sap.
So fixing 'em should take precedence over making them sentient.
+1
+2

Again, as I just said in the main thread, firetrackers have no souls, just like all our creations, so sentience won't help.
I would have thought the two went hand-in-hand. Huh. Better ask Corruptor.

Okay, lets try digging a soft diagonal slope behind our house. try for 25 degrees and a bit taller than strictly neccessary.
+1, also, *facepalm*
>Keep an eye out for any minerals while digging!
+1. Dig only about 20-30 feet down, max, to start, and spiral a little to avoid crossing property lines.

Manifest to my Komodo dragon men, informing them of their creation, and goals that they shall accomplish by worship, and perseverance
Wait, they didn't know they were created?

Find the time to throw pebbles at Eldarin.
Eladrin. And no. That's not a good idea.

Guys! Don't kill Carolus!
He is the reason of his high upkeep cost!We must in fact, allow him to grow stronger, and more reliant on his sleeping master!
So his upkeep rises so high, he will always be sleeping!
Proposition: Allow Carolus to grow ever stronger in order to deprive Jebyg of power
...THAT'S BRILLIANT!

A. A proposition to keep Carolus alive
As Carolus is keeping Jebyg asleep and therefore unable to harm the world, it has been suggested that we allow Carolus to continue living and drawing power from Jebyg. This requires a simple majority.

Actually, now that i think about it; y'all can kill Carolus if ya want, i got a plan to make him infinitely more powerful with no upkeep resting on me!
shhh little Jebyg, you must sleep, for the hour of awakening is nigh
Gee, THAT'S not ominous...

Give Jebyg dAIDS
divine AIDS, FYI. (Hopefully specialized for Jebyg in specific. Just in case, I will avoid fluidic contact with Jebyg.)

Talk to da chief. Also look down and notice what's beneath the village
+1, and I thought the acronym was obvious. Unless it meant "Image Suggestion Game," which is essentially the same thing.

This OOC thing works pretty well for organizing ideas, seems the debates are more focused now.
Agreed.

Eh, I don't want to end that deal. We'll still be making money for the villagers. we're selling to the city.
I think some people are just paranoid.

Probably his ability to cast magic which he never uses anyway.
Wait, Laskus casts spells?

37181
Xantalos, I want to know your thoughts on something.
Should we castrate the overgod should he initiate Armaggeddon?
No, we should tear him apart and devour him if he tries to destroy us.
The two are not mutually exclusive.

Which is why we can form a pantheon to beat him should we need to.
I ain't no younger god, sonny! I'm an Ancient.
I'm an Elder God, too. A turn elder than you, IIRC...

I'll just give  bit of information to clear that up, clay would take, say, 2 extra damage to an iron short sword, and 1 less from a hammer. Stone would take 2 extra damage from a hammer, and 1 less from a short sword. While wood would take no extra damage, and reduce no damage.
Damage bonuses change as the golem gets larger/when the opponents its facing get stronger. (so, it gets scaled, as the damage isn't a flat out "oh, 2 less or 2 more" thing, its a % more that I happen to be unable to find in my swathes of MSword documents where I store my everything ever.)
Ah. So, in theory, just about every kind of material is the same, except that wood has an HP penalty and the differential times to create?
Clay. Clay all the way.

MSword, that sounds like a pretty cool weapon, how do we get it?
MicroSoft word.

Wood does have less HP. (Told you so.)
*Ignore the more resistances in the first place part*
Huh? Are you refering to it not being as receptive to damage, because that's pretty darn vague...

GWG the reason their worship all of nature, instead of one part of it; is because if they worship a single part, they will actually be worshipping a god.....
So?

Isn't this almost exactly what Celestia did?
No. Celestia tried to eliminate a couple Powers without their knowledge, and without letting anyone back out. I am making sure Jebyg has knowledge of him condemnation and that most Powers--not just ones in on my conspiracy--approve his punishment, in addition to making absolution available.

I'm all for GWGs plan.
How do we communicate with people anyway? Besides dreams? Or possesion? Or manifesting as a giant stone golem?
One guy set fire to a brush and used it as a puppet, man that was a weird book.
Yeah.
I was just planning to manifest in a physical form.

to clarify, from their perspective:
Celestia:
appeared in the  middle of the city, promising kindness and growth.
gave them a lecture on the nature of gods
gave them some infrastructure
nearly brought about apocalypse

Draco
after turmoil, appears in middle of city, promising healing and justice
gives them a lecture on the nature of gods
gives them some magical healing
???
prophet
...
Oh crap.
Well, I am showing up with some other gods, and not making implicit threats of cutting off sunlight...
