Roll To Dodge / Re: The Art of Minimalism VII: Oh, Right, Fire

Type in wooden dummy and lighter
[5] [fnt=courier]HERE'S THE BEST I CAN GIVE.[/font] You get a little wooden figurine and a lighter.

Grab laptop supercomputer, then get to the hole.
You do. Someone breaks your fall! Then a sword hits [2] you AND the computer!

Yell at someone south of to to spawn a rocket hoverboard for me so i can go north faster.
[1] Your voice goes out.

THEN DIG ONE AQND GET FURNISHING.

I ain't having no raggedy ass facility.
You start trying to dig a ladder. With no idea how to do so, you make no progress. Then someone lands on you. He has a computer, but the fool got himself stabbed by a falling sword that ruins the computer.

Stop, drop and roll over somebody else.
[4] You successfully smother the flame!

Point to self "My name is Dr. Mercer."
She points to you and says "Miname is Docker Merser."

Spawn as the insane mathematician

"Math is true power,Everything in this Universe Speak in Math,Even You AI,With Math,I Could Do anything"
[1] You are a sane artist.

Grab the sword. Stab the laptop supercomputer
[5] You expertly toss the sword down the pit after that guy who fell in.

GM TURN:
The being formerly known as ShadowDragon [4+1v3] smashes its fist into his former self's reincarnation's face.
The fire, which I've forgotten about for a while, [1] burns out.

As the test has gone well, teleport to a universe where Hitler was squashed by a time- and dimension-hopping time machine in 1935 and squash Hitler. In 1935.

Instead how about a modify agreement, we get access to that library and she gets direct access to the fire nectar.
No.
Divine favors are more valuable than whatever she has in that library, in part because they can involve, say, letting the mages study there.
Similarly, "direct access" implies that she wouldn't need to pay for it.

Why did you change Serena's color from teal to white? It's really hard to read now.
I'm wondering the same thing.

Search for "Escape." Unless I don't understand what Google.Doom is.

37235
Wait, when did I steal anything?

Request clothes that won't become holier and holier each time I put them on. ("Holy" as in "full of holes.")

37236
I actually do have a plan, but your comment makes it seem kinda...dumb.

Go back to the temple. If they try to stab me, ask how well that worked yesterday. If they stab me anyways, don't retaliate--just remove weapon(s) from wound(s), heal, and leave, like yesterday.

((Doesn't null have that magic sword with unknown qualities? Pummeling him might not end well))
Not pummeling Null, pummeling the same guy he's pummeling.

Increase the lust of the Eladrin, but not to the point where they jump on each other in the middle of battle.
Precision is appreciated.

Maybe I should be just a little bit more chaotic. I could throw rocks at Eldarin. Small ones. Pebbles.
If Charlie dies, all the Eldarin will die, all the dragons will die, all the goblins, and all the golems will die with him. Then the dwarves and humans will go insane and kill each other and bath in the blood, leaving only one person left alive who i will grant sanity for a brief moment so they realize the horrors brought upon the world before i kill them by lighting them on fire and consuming their soul. CHAOS IS BRINGING UNIMAGINABLE HORRORS TO THE ENTIRE WORLD OVER THE DEATH OF ONE. YOU AINT FUCKIN' CHAOTIC.
Big talk from a god who's asleep. And preparing to fight the whole world, much of which is already united against maniacs like you.

The Fae, whom you forgot to mention, will sit around and enjoy some tea while plotting how to best take advantage of the situation.
The fae will have their magic corrupted to the point of being unusable without running the 90% chance of death. Then their genes will be corrupted and they will develop horrific tumors and other various unseemly growths. Then their fields burned and salted, then their children slaughtered in front of them, then their animals raped and eaten, then their houses and forest burned to the ground, then their women punched in the gut for good measure.
So you've given up on the Arm Chair? Glad to hear it.

So as far as I know, the Fae, and Jbyg have a monopoly on the knowledge of how to mine and process gems and precious metals. Your welcome.
You know, I imagine Draco as being the world judge, and Useal is the world lawyer.
Don't ask me who the cops are.
Maybe the Eladrin? The presence of six cops could explain why the world is so screwed up...

Humans have bronze...... That could still work.....
So could eating a steel weapon......
Given the bearers of the world's only steel weapons, your Carriers are unlikely to eat a steel weapon, unless "eat" is a euphemism for "be decapitated by."

Anyways...the new(ly?) pagan city.
We obviously are harmed by this city's lack of faith. Therefore we should do something about it.
Atheist-burning isn't exactly going to work too well. I suggest that the Synod show up in person(s). Sound like a plan?

Spoiler: The Synod (click to show/hide)

Orbiting the tip of the spire - and the spire itself, mind you - is a natural satellite. It has a thick atmosphere of hydrocarbons, and therefore the ground isn't visible to those inhabitants of the planet, and appears to be a muddy green-brown color.
This satellite's surface is mostly mud. The atmosphere rains volatle hydrocarbons almost constantly, with evaporation to match. The atmosphere thankfully contains little oxygen.

....you abandoned us behind the freaking veil.
How is that good parenting?
By his definition.

Guys, don't get too cocky or self-absorbed,  there are going to be mortals around who will bite you in your heels and cast you down  :D
I'm trying not to be.

It depends on what type of bandits they are thought.
It's all dependent on this little factor.

After we screwed our main agriculture focus (stems), we need some new crops
Growable weapons.... It's good for some special things, but in general it's better to buy normal, steel weapons from the dwarves.
More food? It's covered
Something to create cloth? pointless. We have spider-silk.
Spices for trade?
Brewable stuff for dwarves?
Hm. Silviculture?

about trading fire nectar exclusively, I'm against it.
sure if we can still trade our own refined products it seems like nothing is lost.
but think about the credit. if she gets to trade super effective potions and we no longer get to trade our fire nectar to possible converts it will seem like she is the only one responsible for the miracle cures.
I don't mind her having a piece of potential converts. but we shouldn't remove ourselves from the equation.
Two things to consider.
One: This deal would give greater profits than just selling it, in the form of a favor every other week and an alliance with Serena.
Two: Serena's more likely than whatever mortal we sell firenector to to give us credit.
Priests with healing boons were always a better option than firenector merchants for evangelism.

The only time dyed become nearly useless is if we bless the spiders so that they produce multi-coloured silk. Then dyes just become another trade good. (unless they did something epic like automatically harden cloths to the strength of Adamantine when struck whilst also dissipating blunt force trauma).
Hm...could we make dyes that do something like that? Maybe not that specifically, but...

Hold on while I think of some magical crops.

Pfffff, agricultural stems were far much better for our  situation. As usual. "better is an enemy of good." Nice job reducing our potential troop raising rate, guys. Setuping fields was so "hard" to do, it was absolutely necessary to make them grow in the wild....
And we spent 100 mana for that. Wonderful...
We gonna regret that will not have those thousands of raised stems when war will come
Saves time for our farmers and opens up the possibilities of neverending sieges of Stems. And the Stems can grow themselves!

Quote
Oh, and what do we grow on the fields, now?
Just about anything we want. Probably normal crops.

I suggest we accept Serena's offer. It gives us both normal profit from firenector and favors, plus an ally.

They're scaring off traders. We're trying to attract traders. Do the math.

Not really. Giving Healing boons to various priests would be cheaper and more effective.
