(( Sniping may be a little OP. ))
((Maybe. Maybe I'm just awesome at it. Or maybe I'm just good at not getting shot back...if I hadn't managed to headshoot those guys, I'd probably be toastier.))

"Cool."

Grab the chainsaw.

"Can we trust this guy with a weapon? Specifically, the BB gun."

Poke Sir Whatshisname with the BB gun. If that fails to wake him up, shoot him somewhere it won't harm him. Once he awakes, give him the BB gun.

Yes they do, because they have more chances to do so.
No, it just means that a weapon will penetrate more times. If an arrow can never penetrate armor, putting 9,000 more arrows in the sky won't help any.

I vote that Reed testdrives.

Well, yes, but I was trying to fix it for a while. Then I gave up, like how I gave up on making Raiss not try to kill me!

Massed archers are indeed great, one of my favorite strategies. However, there's only one of us.
As it so happens, a hundred longbows don't magically penetrate armor better than one longbow.

I want to upgrade the temple into a shrine or whatever the next step is, but not purely aesthetic changes. It would pro'lly have aesthetic with that upgrade, though. I think it should have a wild theme. A wild theme...and fire. Sacrificial burnings like in the Percy Jackson series. Something like that. Lots of braziers.

OOH! We need to make everburning wood! So we don't have to cut trees! It can be put out, but it's not consumed by the flames!
+1. To everything except the sacrifices.

Can we please replace chaos golems with chaos balrogs?  It would be so damn epic.
No I'm happy with the Chaos Golem design. And do we really want to take our idea directly from another creative work?
+1

Regular mole can't penetrate stone, too. It's roods of the Fire tree! it can melt it's way down
[/quote]
Somehow, that sounds less effective than flaming claws.

plus roots grow pretty slowly.
Typical one, yes. We may make absolutely different one. Or boost it growth with direct investment... And roots can penetrate many things
How much mana would it eat up just growing that fast?

Disagree with trying to do anything with Maher other than watch him carefully.
Why cut off diplomatic options?
Because !!CHAOS!!?

Let's make something that's actually spectacular,
No let's make something cheep and efficient not spectacular. Spectctacular can be done much later, when we'll become stronger
Face it, spectacular attracts better than efficient. It's how people are.

Our first vote with a full Synod.

You seem awfully cynical about the possibility of getting the last couple in. Only one of them's Jebyg.

Vgray keep in mind that means no killing mortals either.  At least I think it does.
As it so happens, by modifying Law 4 it only affects mortals.

Not really light, either...hasn't been doing much with it.
I did make that one light...and offer to make the new sun...Okay, yeah, I haven't used it much.

Hm...

Morality is partially objective.  Who says gods have the same morality as humans?
I'm sorry, even if it would benefit me I can't argue this. Morality may be objective, but being the embodiment of following your own idea of morals isn't being a god of Morality. It's being a god of Psychopathy or Sociopathology or  something.

How relevant is a law about minimum wages in a Godly council?
Um...shoot. What were you thinking of?

Oh, and the measure failed. It needed a 2/3 Majority. Even if the last few people all went Aye, it wouldn't even get a simple majority.

Spoiler: The Synod (click to show/hide)

So...Mana.

I suggest that we let the mole mine for a while before condemning it, and also give some nice boons (healing and such) to trustworthy people who we send to evangelize. Good start?
Yeah, I said something quite similar before and I still think it's a good idea.
Agreed.
However, there are other matters to discuss, such as our plans for scouting, and dealing with, the Empire of Tranquility.
In my opinion, we need to scout them first to find out troop positioning. Then we can come up with another plan.
Rather than wasting mana on some scouts, just ask Krait to scout with his little guys. Maybe give them invisibility or something first if you're so inclined.

We could simply send out missionaries. Preferably heavily guarded, what with the ToE.
We could send teams of three: One with a Life boon (healing), one with a Fire boon (guess), and one with a Chaos boon (no two Chaos boons should be quite alike). Maybe throw in some Stems or a minor Chaos Golem along with them.

Make it so that every time our fungus spawn infect someone, we gain all of their knowledge and memories.
This could work...

Consume the whole world and become omnipotent MWAHAHA.
No.

Did we already agree on visiting the Elves? And Maher?
I think so.

List of my ideas mid-long-term ideas to not forget (will update)

1) Use mana to make adult firedrakes out of the eggs
2) Infuse a soul into a cloud of firejackets, to grant it hive mind consincious
2b) Infuse many souls in small clouds of firejackets, to make different hives that will slightly differ in properitis depending on souls used
3) Grow Manarackdraining roots
4) expand the afterlife by adding mushrooms to live in, similar to the ones that real world citizens live in
5) Create mana pool in that afterworld, serving to increase firejackets population here (They can act as defenders)
6) Create fire elementals do defend the afterlife. Maybe convert some souls to fire elementals
7) Plants some plant soldiers in afterlife, serving the same purpose
8) Make remote controlled land mines, using fire nectar explosive in camouflaged pits
9) Upgrade the temple to make it look glorious, preferably nature based
10) Give the Justicar to Maher as a gift and try to use his ego, to make him hate more powerful death god
1,4,5. Works. No objections here.
2. Why?
3. No. Don't try to replace the mole before we've seen what it can do, and roots are worse than getting actual manarack anyways.
6. Might want to mix in Life and Chaos too, whether as part of the "elementals" or as separate things.
7. Can we spare the soldiers? If so, yes.
8. I dunno...it's a neat idea, but seems kinda...unstable.
9. Would this count as an upgrade to improve mana? If so, also incorporate some everburning torches and something chaotic into the upgrade; if not, keep it simple.
10. Um...sure, if we can't think of another use for him.

You knoq my default- no new creatures? :)
For once, I agree with you. Wait, I've agreed with you before, even in this post.
...Once again, I agree with you.

I dislike mentioning brain because it's quite anti-fantasy in theme.
You must hate ilithids.

Elves, yes.
Maher, no.
He still hates us. We will not get his help. He views us as a worthy foe or somesuch. It's like trying to go and ask "Hey wanna be my ally? Something WAY bigger than me or you is gonna try and kill me soon, so I need all the help I can get. I know we fought each other before, but we haven't for a few days. Wanna be friends?"
It'll just make him happy. Because now we have someone else to focus our efforts on and he can attack when we aren't prepared.
We do have Krait as an ally. Maybe use him as a go-between.

Agree with mana pool in afterlife, but not to increase firejackets; use it as a bank. It can generate interest or something.

Disagree with aesthetic changes to temple.
Would you be fine with an upgrade?

Quote
Fire elementals...bah. Let's make something that's actually spectacular, what with it being our afterlife and all. Like a bunch of Chaos Dreadnoughts. Manned by the souls of those in the afterlife who want to. Or just the intelligence we should be able to give to anything we make, regardless of it having a soul.

To me, a soul gives personality, not intelligence.
Something like that.

Also: ARGH NINJAS.

A ha ha no.

I'm talking about full-scale battles here. If the knights couldn't reach the archers in time, the archers would fill the sky with arrows. It killed the men, it killed the horses.
That's not aiming, that's power.
For a random example (the first specific one found with Google-Fu), take the Battle of Shrewsbury. "Thomas Walsingham recorded how the King's men "fell like leaves in Autumn, every one [arrow] struck a mortal man"." So, each arrow killed or mortally wounded. Really weak, neh?

Anyways, swords don't do well against armor either, so your argument is invalid.
