((Yes, because oxygen deprivation is the only thing we have to worry about in a vacuum.
And I'm pretty sure the masks don't cover more than the mouth and nose.))

Wait, why can't you fix broken bones and stuff? Is there some kind of actual limitation, or just no one-size-fits-all panacea?

Shade begins crying hard. She didn't mean to kill Bartimaeus. The attack wasn't even meant to hit him.

Samson begins rubbing the back of his neck and looks apologetic.
I have no idea who these people are.

Anything of note happen in the last ~10 pages?

Current idea is a suggestion game similar to Warrens (but minus the dungeon feel) where you have two POV characters at the same time, taking up two halves of every image.
That sounds fun. Can't wait to see what it is...

We're almost certainly the weapon. That, or our Soul Star.
Something like that is likely.

You don't get it. Your kludgebot required one bad roll to kill people--and given that both critfails and overshots are bad, anyone who needed it (ie anyone who wasn't senior enough to have a decomp) would have about a one-in-three chance of causing a catastrophe.

The artillery malfunctioning? That was a one-in-eighteen chance.
That's more than three-quarters of an order of magnitude of difference. You can't claim that they're functionally identical in risk.

"Car crash..."
Lunette looks confused for a moment and then settles her features into a frown, "That's really sad... Are they okay?"
"I think so?"

Will contemplates a summary of everything notable that happened in the past 90 pages. Or rather, he requests one. Because no way in Hell do I want to read through all that drivel to get the nuggets of gold...

time to get things moving. GWG should have had enough time to think of scenarios by now
Ha. I haven't been worrying about that much; not having a functioning charging cord for my laptop has been a more immediate concern.
Before you ask, I've been borrowing a friend's. And the charging cord isn't always available. And I don't think he'd like me taking it out of the room. And said room lacks wi-fi.

"Infinitum Research Interception Squad"?

Anyways. It's a bit like the SCP Foundation, IIRC, so...Irrational Research and Investigation Service?

Am I the only one who thinks it's ironic that a creatiure of the void has powers based on creating things?
Huh?

Well, yeah. Don't ask me why they though it was a good idea to make a unit with a third of medics and a third of sappers.
Or why, in defiance of real doctrine, you can't take the rifle off your dead companions.

Which gives me an idea for a game, actually...something like a cooperative Looter's Delight, but everyone only gets one bit of gear (persistent) and perhaps not even a whole weapon or whatever. You fight a wave of some goblins or wolves or something, take stuff from the fallen, make better gear, then the next wave comes. And so on and so forth.

I'm falling far behind. And amused that two adjacent Plains tiles is considered "high plains density".

Build a City in 101 and fortify 113.

((Currently waiting on @GWG and @Scapheap. If his Roller's Block post is anything to go by, @Tsuchi's activity may plummet due to some regrettable extraneous circumstances.))

Oh, I didn't touch the link, it's still broken for me.
Huh. It looked fixed when I quoted it.

Oh and GWG, any malfunctions with the kludgebot are caused by the rng, so thats in the exact same boat as unlucky artillery shots.
That's like saying that if the manufacturer of a bunch of rifles isn't responsible for the gun jamming, you shouldn't be responsible for a crappily-made gun you made exploding. It's a matter of scale and probability.

I concur with this man. Danger close artillery and clusterfuck battles. A few temp-deaths and a few injuries. What's new? Why do we gotta' jump on the mutiny bandwagon every-time something goes wrong? This didn't happen in the old days, we just dealt with it.
If anyone not present for one of the first few missions complains about how it was in the old...
