Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: You are a new God OOC thread.

Maybe we should make an OOC thread for Corruptor's sake, this is probably pretty obnoxious for him.  I like talking about future plans and I don't mind arguing a little for the course of action I think is best but things seem to be getting a little out of hand.
+1...oh, wait.

Not compared to many other weapons *cough* warhammer *cough*.
It's all relative, but longbows beat armored knights. (Not always, but the arrows penetrated the armor, which should indicate stopping power behind the arrows.) They're not weak.

I propose rule 4b, outlawing death sentences.
Okay then.
People, please try to keep real-world politics out of this. There are only three things you should base your vote on:
1. What your character thinks is right.
2. What you think would be best for the world.
3. What would be best for your character.
((Thankfully, for me all three of these happen to align with each other.)

A. Forbidding the Death Penalty
To protect the sanctity of life, Law 4 is to be amended, with the phrase "unless the death penalty was used" appended to the end. Thus, the Law will read, "No being may be prosecuted for punishing said being's own servants for infractions of the being's laws or orders, unless the death penalty was used."

I propose we do something like what I've been doing in the (Un)Holy Powers game, except with the players rather than the in-game entities. Specifically, an organized organization. Of course, we'd need to change it. Maybe we could take a bit more inspiration from the Congressional Debate done at the high school level. Having been on the Speech and Debate Team, I could figure out a way to fit that into the forum format. Heck, I already am! Anyone care to listen?
Boo! Boo organization! Booooo!
Fine. Bet you didn't like the Synod either...

:p don't see why people dislike diversity. I bet you're all just racist against mythical creatures.
It's not antipathy towards diversity, it's a lack of comprehension of how these creatures would be worth their mana when we have so many other creatures...and humans.

Well in the spirit of politics we need two major parties who oppose each other and one smaller party at least to not have much impact because the other parties disagree with it.
We're there.
1- Burn the land and punish everyone who disagrees with us. Because we are chaos.
2- Be peaceful, convert, grow our economy.
3- Make new stuff. Because we are chaos.
I tried to be unbiased.
I think the "BURN EVERYTHING" party is the 3rd one, actually.

"Wow. Did you see that? Oh, good, my helmet's camera was on."

Reload with grenade rounds. Check for more targets.

Not the bow because it lacks in power. You want something with a decent kick behind it for your weapon. If we go ranged weapons we should get something like the javelin launcher from LFR.
Bows have plenty of power in the real world.

Why not? It's a nice way to finish things up. Cover every base, you know.

Respawn on the bridge of the ship. Teleport it to a universe where Hitler was squashed by a time-travelling ship in 1935. Squash Hitler with the ship.

Stop arguing and start working. What else can we do to make things better, to make up for the mistakes we have all made?

The cold god should freeze dwarven lands, to screw dwarves even more !
If you did, I'd just make the land warm again. Two things to consider:
1. Lots of cold-blooded creatures.
2. I'll keep the other to myself, actually.

Bow. You can actually hunt with it.

Long-term, the golems can be meatshields, while we shoot over their backs.
