((I just noticed that I'm the only character above second level.))

"Alright...Maseau, you hold onto the potion. Give it to someone when they're near-dead and a more conventional healer can't heal whoever it is."
Give the potion to the Slime Wizard.
"And preacher, heal thyself!"

Continue detecting treasure. Everyone else is...

I am still interested, just have been caught by standeridized testing. Will get free around Saturday afternoon, will post more then.
Gwyn tells me you are using GURPS, I would like to inquirer how many points and what is the maximum disadvantage points we can accrew?
"Gwyn"? Geez, that makes me sound like some Mary Sue witch OC protagonist of a crappy fanfic or something.
Anyways. You get 100 PP, which are usually equivalent to GURPS character points except when they aren't. You can also take 50 points of disadvantages. You also get 100 stat points, to distribute among nine stats.
Index for scattered rules for conversion
Rules for the actual system we'll be using in-game

Selina has been spending time with Angel when shes out of school, and has probably been dragged to atleast 1 night club by Nuriel perhaps? Selina is always really awkward feeling at them and doesn't do much at them.
Nuriel probably doesn't drag her to more than one.

A few questions I've had, and some more of...someone else's.
Are you about as well-traveled as your girlfriend, or does she travel a lot more?
Quote
Actually, questions for piecewise: how do they select Amp Specialists? Do they promote them from among the officer ranks, do psi testing like in X-COM or XCOM, just let people volunteer or do it some other way entirely? What do they even pay Amp Specialists? Do they pay them? What do Amp Specialists usually do in their spare time? How are they dealing with permanent disability? Do they go crazy a lot? Can they speak? Does anybody invite them to parties? Do they have a reasonable amount of free will, or are they basically people with acquired sodliness?
Are they even still sentient, or are they sod-like in brain activity?
[Is there] space ham?

Also, let's try some new ones.
Is the pill machine busted?
If we don't do anything particularly brilliant or stupid on Hephaestus, how long do you see it taking us to get manufacturing capabilities and such on the same scale of the UWM?
You've mentioned a few times that ARM's weapons and such are behind the times of the UWM's. What do we have to do to fix this? After all, I don't think we want to spend time tinkering with the details of laser rifles or whatever to bring them up to the SOTA. We want to spend time tinkering with more fun things!

I don't see why not. It's the same idea.

Thank you, GWG
No problem.

I'm... Still thinking up Dalia's character, honestly. I'd probably make her a cloudcuckoolander (which is a word recognized by Google Chrome) of some sorts, but I kinda want to go with an overconfident tomboy as well. Most likely with different stats/perks too. Gah, give me time to sort everything out I guess.
Aye-aye!

I'd also touch on vampires wanting equal rights to religion and liches being very opposed to the antimagic field in many areas but someone already took vampires and everyone seems to have no problem with people blindly accepting antimagic in public.
"Blindly accepting"? What, exactly, are they being blind to? The risk of a magical person gaining magical powers one way or another and trying to use it? I can see why places would want to set up antimagic fields.

Alright. That's everyone with character sheets except ICARUS and most of Nomad's characters.

Check the most recent posts, GreatWyrm. Projeck just posted his outro (which has definitely improved since the last time I saw it. Good job).
I did. I couldn't find it. I must have missed it.
Oh, it was in a spoiler.

What's that about Ashley killing the real her in Riyadh?
Too many "she's" around the time that one of them got the dress and the silly huge sword.
I'm confused. That's a nice outro for Ashley, but why did everything else need to finish before that?

384
Dayum dat story wus gud
What story? Did something happen in the IC thread? Was there an outro sevveral pages back?

Tactical Stealthing seems more reasonable, and less Schizophrenic.
I'll +1 this because it has a chance of success and isn't stupid. Curse you, FPTP.

Thanks to syv for answering some of my questions. Questions updated.

((piecewise
smurfington said that he added 3 Will at the end of the Hephaestus missions. Has this been accounted for?))

It probably should have updated before the mission began. Since you're in a different system now.

Goddammit stop twisting my words!

Negligable: Creation of small mundane items or medical supplies.
Small: Creation of Armor, Weapons, and Minor Gear. 25 stat summon. (TN: No Roll, 2 mana cost)
Medium: Medium Explosives, Higher Quality Gear, Furniture, Minor spells summoned from the paper, 50 stat summon (TN:3, costs 5 mana)
Big: Moderate spells, Very good (temporary) gear, 75 stated summons. (TN:3, Drawback- Minor exhaustion lowers speed by 4 for 6 turns. costs 7 mana)
Enourmous: 100 stated summons, or three 25 stated summons. (TN: 9, 20% chance to fall unconscious, Minor exhaustion lowering speed by 4 for 6 turns costs 10 mana)
Gigantic: 125 stated summons, or three 50 stated summons, or five 25 stated summons. (TN: 7, Drawback- Major exhaustion lowers speed by 8 for 8 turns, becoming Moderate exhaustion. 65% chance to falls unconscious. costs 14 mana)
'Good Luck': Extreme 150 stated summons, four 50 stated summons, or seven 24 stated summons. (TN: 9 Drawback: falls unconsious costs all mana)[/spoiler]
And how do you propose I try to balance something like that? The only abilities I can think of that involve creating items are Gizmos and Snatcher; the latter has a bunch of restrictions you all hate, the former has a bunch more that really can't be worked around. If we're going to try and use GURPS to balance things, we have to use GURPS to balance things. Or at least to approximate the things we're balancing.

by the way, I have been thinking, for high level spells, chances of not passing the TN is rather high. Get just a bit unlucky, and you can spend a long time casting nothing at all.

I propose that after a failed cast, the TN for immediatly trying again reduces by 3. That way, it's basicaly saying "couldn't manage to gather the energy quickly enough, but next turn, can finish the spell".

idea good?
That works.
