Grab butter knife while Javier is still running towards me if I have a pocket to put it in, then shoot him point-blank before he gets within grabbing distance. Point blank range should be a bonus, right? If shooting him fails to have an effect, avoid losing gun.

Short-term: Ask what's happening in Ravenholt, then go there to confirm.
Longer-term:
If Laskus can't do much to the goblins for whatever reason, send Tiberius and...whatever we named the dragon (dangit!) to help, supported by divine fire. Whatever happens, make sure to provide the goblins a display of our power before they are defeated, ideally via fire magic since that's the least like Uristiel's.
Speaking of Uristiel, talk with him about seeding the caverns with new life. For now, he can just "owe us one"--one is a very potent currency, in addition to making him feel grateful in his time of need.
(I already typed this, then I closed the tab. ARGH!)

We'd need to learn what zombies can do first. Thankfully, if we just lay lone and find a newspaper tomorrow or the next day, we'll probably learn something about them due to the guy we already zombiized.
If that doesn't work, we could bite a hobo (of the Belgian equivalent) and tie him to something before fleeing and watching the news.
