Wouldn't they be moving too fast to be useful for much imaging?
Not necessarily seeing as spy satellites still work rather well despite moving quickly.
Quickly, but not that quickly.

Wouldn't tracking targets require them to stay fairly near said targets?
Or have multiple ones covering the world and switch the tracker duty to the one nearest as any given instant.
That would take a hell of a lot of satellites, given the speeds they would be moving at and the relatively low area any one could cover.

Wouldn't antimagic make their orbit decay faster than you can say "supersonic"?
Yes, hence the emphasis was on "close enough to their target to be seen", seeing as most targets cannot see something in orbit until its orbit has already decayed and sent it barreling down at them, antimagic won't work too well.
Um...if it's close enough that atmosphere is going to make a difference, it's probably not at "orbital" heights. Still not easy for people to see, perhaps, but...still.

What's the approximate stats on gods?
"Lolnope"?

And what if we go WH40K with the mech and have a demon power it and maintain it and drop it in from a high height?
The demon would break out of its containment and begin a rampage?

Did I miss anything of note?

Aw hell no, HELL NO. While Remuthra may be a hard GM, he's only scaling it to the party itself. It's game over for us regular folk if you bring THAT monstrosity into the game >:C
It doesn't seem that bad. All the problems of a mystic theurge (lower CL, weaker spells, MAD) and half of the flexibility (same spell list).

Look, it's pitifully easy to beat that by going Wizard 2, Psion 2 and Cerebramancer 2 by taking Practiced Spellcaster twice. In that build, you have the casting capacity of two people, without worrying about MAD.
...Huh?

How about a young black dragon psion? The LA  on a youngn black dragon is only +4. (How the hell did that happen?)
Racial hit dice.

Actually, I think I want to be an inexplicably evil silver dragon psion, for free caster levels and alternate form.
Neat idea. Sadly, even wyrmlings with no class levels are ECL 11.

I just had a brilliant idea. Can we enslave the natives of the Galapagos islands without the UN noticing and train them to be commandos so I can take over a shipping company?
So many problems with that.

If you're wanting to become in charge of an area, go after a politically unstable area and make it stable, if only a small part.  That way, you're getting good publicity (at least until all these experiments you are trying to perform get out), likely a great deal of interest for development, and a greater amount of resources.
+1

I'll work on my sheet tonight.
I never said I'd put it on Mythweavers that night, did I?

Anyways...sheet basically done, just need to get enough charge at a time when I have nothing better to do than put the character sheet on Mythweavers. And double-check that I have the point totals and stuff right.

Einsteinian Roulette / Re: Einsteinian Roulette OOC

Huh?
I haven't seen anything short of amps and Xan that can really make flesh warp to things more easily than synthflesh. And has anyone seen someone so much as have a chance to use a flesh amp on synth?
Both of which are good examples of its malleability, and in Xan's case, of its ability to modify itself without any outside assistance.
And neither of which is known to be impossible with synthflesh. Besides, Xan's a pretty obvious anomaly.

Quote
I'm not aware of anyone actually attempting to modify synthflesh, but in ancient times the Doctor mentioned that once a synthflesh's form was set, it was really, really hard to change, usually to the point where it was easier to start over. It was also confirmed that healing synthflesh in the field would require a bunch of near-perfect rolls from a variety of disciplines, which doesn't bode well for modifying it.
The question is: has anyone looked into making synthflesh more malleable? Can't be harder than making the Thing.

And yes the devastation was just bad luck, but pyro/simus designated the targets and fired without any skill or dynamic bonuses to mitigate possible damage even after seeing what happened when you fired it.
Calling it Simus' bombardment seems fairly accurate to me.
Oh and I distinctly recall you saying that i must take responsibility for all my thundertrons failures up to and including it exploding and killing a teammate. I think this meets the same criteria :P
The differences...
1. Simus's presence or lack of skill or dynamic bonuses matters not, because she wasn't firing the damn thing!
2. Simus didn't really have a choice in whether or not to fire the artillery, between her CO and the enemy.
3. "Giant un-prototyped barel-planned kludgebot malfunctions" is way more likely than "artillery hits our own position multiple times". The numbers don't lie--one 1 or even a 6 would be enough for the former, while the latter requires a 1 followed by a 1 or a 2 to happen, once.

Hell, when even the GM says we just had massive streak of bad luck, it's indicative it wasn't a structural fault but rather the torn of the RNG.
Conclusion: We must punch the RNG for this failure! Which might be tough if piecewise uses random.org, since their number generator is the atmosphere.

The reason I say that is largely that I doubt it's going to be more than an occasional bit of dialogue here and there once we get rollin'.
