I wonder what happens to the game if I beat Null? You gain an absurd amount of power and force everyone to follow you until you reach 50 souls.
I'm hoping that the game restarts with a shuffle of words or, maybe the list of possible effects is passed around- This is just too much fun to die.I have a plan for a new game like this. It'll have more...freeform magic.
woops was replying to GWGOkay, going to try that out! Yay!
Well liquids tend to collapse....And electricity tends to not have a physical presence.
((For a long time I was looking for the word for dragon, so that I could make a Bookwyrm out of paper and ink))Do it. Also let me know what the word for "dragon" is, I'd probably trade you for it.
You can't claim not to know that the Nazis believed that the Aryans were the master race.Quote"Bah. It is fools like this which hold us back in the Dark Ages..." Oh, and I'm kinda insulted by the sideways comparison to Hitler.Sometimes I think that people on Bay12 can interpret just anything as an insult
Psions are Aryans because they are a strictly better version of humans. Their ideology or goals have nothing to do with that.False. Pretty much anyone with the right teacher can learn psionics (I think), and the comparison was still implied.
Meh, point.QuoteI'm not even known to the general populace. Not all the faction leaders know the Circles exist.Did I say that I expect you to post openly? No? then why you answer that? It's obvious that openly rebellious factions should do all actions via PMs
Go live in Northern Alaska. It's a much more habitable environment then mars and everyone will be happy to leave you alone. If you live in a remote enough place you could plunk a few thousands in an annuity to cover all your taxes forever and the feds will be happy to leave you alone. Get a handful of people to go with you. There, you've made your alleged utopia and it cost you a few tens of thousand dollars instead of a few tens of billions.Utopia? No. More free from the sociopolitical concerns of Earth? Certainly.
It's nice that you have this whole social theory but social theories don't give return on investment for a colony and they don't pay to make the oxygen flow and the plants grow.True...but with a minimum of maintenance, the plants provide the oxygen and labor keeps the plants healthy. You shouldn't even need to worry about any kind of disease ravaging the crops, unless your quarantine procedures suck.
Or heck, find an unoccupied island in the pacific. Nobody at all will ever bother you and you don't even need to pay taxes. Go make your utopia there.Um...yeah, big consequences there. I doubt that there's any bit of land above water which is both A. unclaimed and B. able to be colonized enough to support a few thousand people without screwing up the local ecosystem.
Anti-science AND anti-defense? Is there no level Obama will not sink to? If we don't have a death star, how can we prevent terrorist attacks in a post 9/11 world?...By leaving Earth intact?
No, you can't make that assumption. Hitting a ship with a planet-busting laser would destroy it as much as with a planet-splitting laser. And are you sure that it was the main laser that zapped the ships in the first place? But they were certainly not planet-sized, so therefore a blast would not compltely destroy a planet, therfore it is logical to assume it is capable of sizing it's blasts.True, but weren't the ships...slightly completely obliterated?Well, there's the fact that it was used to destroy ships. Those weren't full-power blasts it was shooting! Hell, in comparison to the planet-busting power that was miniscule. And where do you get the proof for this?did you see what happened to Alderaan? it just poped! That was at full power. The Death Star could be used at lesser strengths to simply break large objects open.
I suspect it would be pretty effective, actually. If we can have electric hands, we can have blood staves!(( Shareeb Hobitaeaod Zzeralthonth : Summon cat control staff ))Nope. You need something for the staff to be made of- if i had left my staff without the "kenthablaw", it would be made of blood, which would fail.
True. We also already have them. Here's an idea.Tower plants are useful for both...
Limit ourselves to one new species every turn, tops, unless we actually need more.
For now, create species which are useful in both peace and war.
I'd suggest something like the Saps--big guys are useful in war and heavy labor.
((You know you're on Bay12 when you're debating over the feasibility of stealing someone's blood to fire out of your opened arteries to blind people))
Bay 12: Where injuries are treated as avenues to inflicting mass destruction.Hm...hard choice, but I think I'll sig derm's.
