There are no need to use then now. Death field is lethal for small creatures. Our fire bugs should join the fight when the real battle will begin. We have too few forces to waste them on small attack waves
Maybe have some start a new nest in the forest. I like that idea--a forest of trees which fire mutagenic spores and flies which set you on fire.
