I, Draco, God of Justice, Morality, and Light, have chosen to sit this one out. No matter how much you "powers of darkness" all tempt me, most of you aren't so far in darkness to deserve annihilation.

And stop, guys. I put my speech in the OOC thread last night for a reason.

I certainly hope not, this thread actually inspired me to start a project of my own. (Though, the project might have been too ambitious, it's a lot of work, and i feel guilty for not having it ready yet.)
Same here. I was planning to start a forum game. You?
Been working on a choose-your-own-adventure app for a while heh. Programming's all done for it, just working on the writing now.
Sounds cool.

Berserker 1: Rest
Cleric: Caste Haste centered at B10
Ogre: Attack Warrior 2
Goblin 2: Move to G9
Warrior: Move to D10, attack Warrior 2
Berserker 2: Move to C13, attack Goblin 1 (enemy)
Goblin 2: Move to D12, attack Mage
Alchemist: Move to B11

That seems to be everyone.

the morality of our situation became muddled.
I already addressed that pages ago. Jbg violated the terms of the agreement. You were just looking for an excuse to change your mind.
It isn't just that. When it's just us vs. Jebyg and Javier, it's a-OK. That's punishing criminals. When we start dragging every other power into the fight (and not all on our side!), then we're starting to suffer civilian casualties. Is it still justified, or is it unacceptable collateral damage? Would we even accomplish our goals, or would the mightier beings we're prosecuting use the lesser ones as cover?
Maybe once it's down to clear criminals. But, frankly, I've half a mind to break off the alliance. You say it's okay to attack Jebyg, because he violated the ceasefire, changing the situation. I say it's okay not to attack them, because innocents joined their side, changing the situation.

My money's still on the tanks.
...and apparently you didn't realize that we were the tanks in that summary?
...No, apparently you didn't realize this isn't about strength.
It's not that I chickened out, it's that I'm not so sure attacking them is right.

thought he was the last one who hadn't.
Again, I thought I was the last one to post an action.

I'm not disputing that. I'm simply saying that they walked off because they were stupid and didn't understand that we had the advantage.
Oh, I understood that we had the advantage as far as the pure strength goes. Does anyone think that that was justification for Europeans taking over the New World?

Also didn't help that jaass went off and edited his post to hide the fact that he was attacking you, then privately whispered the gm to confirm that he was fighting on our side and asked us all to keep it a secret.
Seriously, did he think we weren't going to win or was he just causing trouble?

Oh, and LB...
What have scapheap, Kashyyk, and Inithis done to deserve annihilation? If you want me to attack their "alliance," explain that.

Do not judge he who chose not to judge.
What about people who spent days planning an attack, went ahead and did the attack...and then changed their mind and backed out once victory was no longer certain, and are eagerly allowing others to take the fall and pretending innocence?
Can we judge those?
In case you couldn't judge, my heart wasn't all in the attack to begin with. Then the circumstances changed. Victory was suddenly anything but certain, the morality of our situation became muddled.

This war will end with the destruction of man and his civilzation. I will not allow that to happen. We will go back to status quo or weaken ourselves through petty fighting. Pick which one you prefer devil.
I'll do my best to stop this from happening, but...yeah, the war's probably going to make the plague seem like a minor flu outbreak as far as people-killed...

Damnit man you are the SUN!  Nothing is worth you and your cities destruction pull out before the trap closes and you, along with the hope of civilzation,  die.
And then we make a new sun.
Set Valhalla on fire.
We're GODS. If we accidentally destroy the Sun, we can deal.

Can we stop bickering?
I wish.

Who get's Celestia's city? I promise to build temples to all of my fellow Devils.
Can I have a temple, too?
It can double as a couthouse!

CAN'T BACK OUT NOW. JAASS, MCCLAY, AND YOU LORDBUCKET SHALL ALL BE CRUSHED. AND I'LL LISTEN TO SOME KICKASS MUSIC WHILE DOING SO.
WELCOME TO THUNDERDOME. TONS OF GODS ENTER, FUCKALL LEAVES.
You realize that you might still die, yes? Four greater gods posted attacks against you. People only backed out because they were too stupid to read the relative combat strengths thread, and apparently didn't realize that devils have 1/2 the strength of a greater god, and demons have between 1/6 and 1/10, and angels between half to one third of strength of a demon.
It was 4 greater gods vs a greater god, and two devils worth about one. Plus "other stuff."
It would be like saying I'm bringing four tanks, and you're bringing two tanks, a bunny, a squirrel, a really good bb gun and half a dozen sparklers . And clearly that outnumbers the four tanks.
More like four tanks vs. two tanks, a jeep, and a bunch of infantry of varying types. My money's still on the tanks.

Deposit a small sample of power in deep space; letting it charge up exponentially.
[1] You deposit yourself in deep space.

Wait I'm not a statue.
APPLY VULTURE WINGS TO BODY AND LEARN TO FLY
Yes, you are. You kinda got turned to stone. [6] You sprout a pair of vulture's wings and spring off into the ceiling, shattering your still-stone body. Ouch.

Rise from hell, make friends with Knight Tiger and awaken his conscience!
[5] Um...sure.

Animate statue, continue the attack on Knight Tiger's fortress.
[2] Nope. You turn into ice cream. Because I've been meaning to work that old gag into this somehow.

I'm already made of stone so...
Smash everyone around me and use their wreckage to regrow my other arm!

Excellent deduction! [5] You smash nine Haunting Vulture statues before they hit the ground! And Heracles's! You get a +1 bonus to any strength-based action if I remember.

Reanimate as a Cthulhu statue.
Put you head back on like it was before.

[6] You are a statue of Cthulhu! Without any Cthulhu powers. [3] Your shoulders wear your old head like a partly living hat.

Walk around smashing up the hero statues before they can reanimate.

[1] You smash yourself. Ouch.

((But the pinky is an appendage...))

>REGROW ARM BACK BY ABSORBING NEARBY MATTER
>CONTINUE ASSAULT

[2] Nope. [6] You slaughter a lot of stuff! Not Kratos. He...well, as we say in The Art of Minimalism, Respawn?

Form mythological greek hero faction. attack any vultures that come near me.
First, you need to reanimate. [5] Which you do, and you help Achilles do the same. Kratos, surrounded by heroes from Sparta and those other, lesser city-states, gets the +1 bonus he deserves.
((I actually think Athens is better, but don't tell Kratos.))

Fly back to the room

is a dragon.
[4] You...reach the room.

I... What... But I'm the original Machine God priest? How the fuck can he outrank me?

Call him a heretic again. Pray to the Machine God, praising him and asking him to strip the heretic of his power.
((The Machine God's choice of ranking is kinda the Word of God. Also, you didn't roll well, and he did.))
[2] The Machine God does, in fact, strip the hereticier guy of his power. Your exosuit goes dead.

BOSS TURN:
The Knight Tiger ponders a moment, before summoning [5] a Bloodstained Eater. It's big, stained with blood, and HUNGRY.
The bunnies make [3] a little ray gun.
