Actually, it's more like this; Sun rose normally before you arrived. You arrived, sun started being weird; sometimes nice, but now this.

Plus people are dumb and selfish.

Most of what you lost was actually to disease.

Additionally, you can't just say people are immune. Draco's prophet is immune because he specifically said that he would cure her of the disease, and the Eladrin are immune because they aren't human. But when he's a devil who specializes in disease...it's gonna be a bitch of a time making sure they never get a cold. Because if they do, he can probably kill them with it. Not that it won't be hard for him to pierce a god's protections either, it's just gonna be a test of wills, is all.

Plus, what does a god of chaos, insanity, and rage/battle have in those domains to protect against disease? Are you going to make the immune system pissed off?
I'm making them immune and fearless, not just saying it. What does a justic god have to do with immunity too? He punish the immune systems to community service?
It helps that I only healed a handful of people.

You paid 20 to gain control of the sun, and 10 to maintain control. Duh.
Or perhaps you usurped the current sun.
Bucket you, not Jbg you.

Wyrm: to clarify, the reason I'm pissed as Jbg is that his warlord prophet is attacking my city(the one I actually physically cannot abandon as long as they revere me as king because... yknow, binding contract).
I understand, but I am weakened. I'll send my Eladrin if the warlord isn't powerful enough to kill them. Are his troops basically human?

hmm, if i empower you through war would you make new diseases for the Fae? One of them escaped getting it's arm ripped off and another is trying to kill my prophet.
Fae are kinda immortal.........
They're immortal. But they are still killable.
As in, they can live forever if they don't get a plague, get murdered by a warlord, or get their arm ripped off without enough magic to heal it.
Your a god, just 1 vs1 the weakest class in the game or something.....
Spend 1 power killing the damn fae
Where are mortals on that scale?

We're the last two players at near-full strength. What did you expect?

"Grek! You shan't believe your eyes when you see what I do to you. This day was dull for you? Allow me to fix that..."

Skeleton 3 attack Assassin.
Skeleton 1 move to C8.
Skeleton 2 move to D4.
Necromancer summon a skeleton at C2 if possible. If not, let me know so I can revise the action.
Warrior: Finish Warrior 2.
Mage: Move to F9.
Cleric 1: Heal at H10.
Cleric 2: Haste at G10.
Troll: Move to H8.

That rule about not having more than three summoned creatures is REALLY annoying. Just think, if you had left it out, I would probably be the Grek.

((Zacen, care to move your archer north a bit to help me out?))

...wait, so demonstrating clearly that the survival of every human on the planet depends on My continued maintenance of the Sun resulted in a net loss of followers, including one of my most devoted? Are they stupid? I'm paying an active maintenance on the Sun every turn. The continued existence of all life on this planet depends on Me taking active action to maintain it.
Maybe they hate you. Maybe a lot of people lost faith when the sun was out.
Maybe it's justice.

Re: Jbg:
Oh crap...that means I need to keep an eye on a bunch of warbands rather than a single god...
Well, it should be easier to handle one warband...

If we agree that the warbands are embarking on an unjust course of action, can you dissuade them? Please?
Of course if it's something like wiping out a village of innocents, though if they are expanding their empires, i will not dissuade them. I need power as well.
This is the best I'll get. I'll take it.

Well, you are a bit of an ass for blocking out the source of life on the planet for shits and giggles. What's the word? Unpony.
You miss the point. I didn't "block it."
I am the source of it.
This is like people getting angry because the guy who donates $100 to charity every month didn't donate one month. How dare he.
Well, there was always the Sun, then a god comes along, then the god blocks it. It's a bit understandable that they don't see it the way you do, pal. If there was eternal darkness before you, sure, but since there wasn't...

Re: rancor the ninja:
What are your domains again?
I'm a Fae lord, not a god. I can use most magic with reasonable efficiency, though I am slightly better at defense and magically binding contracts. If all else fails, I can also just do things with my hands, like, say, stabbing certain warlords and hanging their corpses above my gates as a warning.
Excellent. Shall we be in touch?

also, celestia: if you die, then we'll just organize a sun raising rota. You're the best at it, but anything can be done with enough power.
Assuming that the Sun really does stop.

No, more like the guy who started the charity making the starving children he founded it to feed, dance for his amusement lest he let them starve to death.
Excellent analogy.

Oh, and by the way Celestia: I'm not saying I'm opposed to your actions, I'm just saying that the mortals' reactions are justified.

Fae Court is short for Courtiers, I should clarify. There just usually happen to be at least a dozen or so once things get going, while lesser gods and demons are far rarer.
I knew it!

Help Im stuck on top of this quote pyramid and I can't get out!

Wait.
Wwolin is the current ruler of the Infinite Featureless Plain of Death...
When I get a chance, ask Wwolin for a better position.
Make a deal, Wwolin, Sir.
HEad Death is in charge. wwolin jus claimed an infinite featureless plain.
It's not the same plain?
No, its just wwolin just was like, I'm claiming this and he hasn't backed it up at all.
...Then why does his status say that he's the RULER of the plane?
It doesn't. It says he is the ruler of Hell.
NOW it does.

Slip plans for teleportation devices to a major corporation. They create an exact duplicate of the person at the other end, but trap the mind of the person in between dimensions. This is a fate worse than death. Then, um...what are Fates supposed to do?
Looks like someone discovered my inspiration for this most recent change.
Wait, it wasn't obvious? I knew you were referencing Irregular Webcomic once I noticed the infinite featureless plane of death. I just never had a chance to link to it until now.
Well now I need to think of a new afterlife thing.
Why?
For the next cataclysmic event. also I don't want to reference Irregular Webcomic for 3000 posts. Maybe the Gilgamesh afterlife?
Or send us to a metaphysical train station.
Nope. We shall all be entombed within the great quote pyramid of Giza.
good one. I like that.
It sounds like a nice afterlife, but can we stop the pyramid?

3 imps to take on a fae court, yet It is a COURT aka multiple fae joined up in ranks
No, I just confused fae courtiers' and Lesser Fae.

So, somewhere between 1/6 and 1/2 of an angel each per Eladrin. Neat. As an angel is around a decidevil, I need at least a score of Eladrin, and perhaps 60. It takes 5 energy to make an Eladrin, so getting another 33 would cost...165 energy...I'm not getting an Eladrin Celestial Police Force any time soon.

Oh boy oh boy, Jbg is amassing an army, this should get interesting, although he is sinking a decent amount of power into his actions.
If he gets into a fight, he might lose

BTW Warbands are murderers and war causes death, so you're feeding me more death power
Oh dear...oh dear oh dear oh dear. I need to get SERIOUS power if I'm going to police this world....I'm so screwed.

Jbg, could you provide an explanation of motivation for any conflict you get into with your warbands so I don't persecute you for justified conflicts? That would save us both headaches. Actually, that applies to everyone, but Jbg's seems to be the most soon....

38951
I know.
Did you think I'd roll over once I defeated Tsuchigumo?

To be fair, Great Wyrm, while he did kill a quarter of the human population, everyone else makes up for it.
How so?

Quote
And the plague has run it's course; even the bubonic only lasted three years(I think...).
So? He still killed 25% of...ah. The plague's already almost done? If that's true, changing action.

Quote
They're stronger than imps, weaker than Fae Court. Meaning that Frost Giant could kill one if they were by themselves, but two could beat it. Carriers are very similar in power level. But alone...
Wait, aren't imps stronger than the Fae Court?
Okay. Divide them up into a couple groups.

Meh, don't get it, meh, ???, that petty good, MY PAIN IS OVER 9000, what, it ok, ???, I think I get it.
Surly, Surgeon, Surcharge, Servant, Service, Survivor, Circus, Sirloin, Surreal, Sermon.

At first I was thinking 1 or 2, but then I realized that the rocks were outcrops of #2 and not the banks of #3. 3 it is.

"Heh. Never say stuff like that, rookie."

Take Afigi, kill the bandit leader. If he dies, say: "Is this one of those bandit clans where killing the leader makes you the new leader?"
