I want to see what was able to distract a Searchbot from FULLONMURDERSPREE.
Much more interesting and possibly Angel-related than Cain.
...
How is this in any way an either/or thing?

Note the fact that we don't need to roll for targeting ourselves for levitation.(anymore). WE MUST SEE THE ???????? AREA! WE CAN LEVITATE!
We can go there after Cain. If it's gone by then, it'll probably be gone by now.

Roll To Dodge / Re: Thawed (Stop Mutilating Yourself)

Patiently wait to be fixed.
You are mostly healed!
You'll be done next turn. Do you want a peg leg, or will you see if Kyle can restore it first?

"Okay. If you find a creature with wibbly things on it terrorizing peasants find me and I'll... do something about it."
After waiting for a response Kyle goes off to search for the missing woman. Healing those hurt along the way including himself and his lack of an arm.
"...Alright."
Power: [2+1+0.2-1=2]
Control: [1-1+0.2-1=0]
Oh crap. You kinda grow back your hand and such, but you also screw up your arm. The whole thing is bigger than it was before, lumpy, reddish, and twisted; the hand is more like a club with a few blunt fingers than a normal hand. Also, you can't feel it. And it's twitching violently, where "violently" here means "at anything or anyone it thinks it can break".

Seek my quarries! The wimmin must be brought back! Use my considerable skill at wilderness survival to help me think of brilliant ideas about how to pursue them.

You get lost. And also stuck in a rather damp cave.
...In your defense, that slope looked a lot less slick before you slipped in.

Yup. It's pretty neat.
The food is good. Well, the berries are a bit tasteless, but other than that good.

"Well crap."
Find and isolate my fingers then carry the bear's pieces back to town.(along with my fingers)
You head back to town, staggering under the burden. A lot of the buildings are gone, and there are bloody crystal shards everywhere, but they seem to have solved most of their problems.
You are rushed to the medical tent.

And if we aren't getting Slog back, then we aren't using enough resources.
Or maybe it's just impossible.

If you really want to get Slog back, see if you can connect us to the Wormverse. Contessa seems pretty good at bringing basically-dead people back to full health with no explanation.
I'd call the above a spoiler, but it doesn't make any sense unless you've already read all of Worm, so eh.

<Are either of those magic?>
<No, but then again neither are bacteria or viruses. Do you want me to infect you with HI--no, not that. Do you want me to infect you with influenza, see what happens?>

<Um... a-a-about what...?> Will says a lot of things.

((And I gotta go for real now for under 4 hours. ciao!))
((I'll probably be in class by then. See ya!))
<Something I wanted to see if you could make. Are you busy now?>

If you are unsure, ask KJ, who has the authority over IRIS related questions I guess.
I was trying to.
Should I have been less subtle?

else, any of the following: radioactivity, electromagnetic, various viewing modes that make various kinds of magic visible, both in nature of the magic and it's intensity and density
Nothing special, nothing special, and you would find a lot of interesting stuff but sorting out the dragons from the wizards from the ancient thaumactive Mayan laboratory ruins.

((inb4 we find something entirely unrelated to the dragons hidden in those jungles))
*scribble scribble*
Seriously, though, if anyone wants to sneak in a side-plot or a clue/hook to a future plot in there, go for it.

And while the news is on, they mention a series of bloody murders in Mexico. Given the timing, some suspect it has something to do with the dragons.
((Plot twist, it doesn't and the yellow dragons are innocent of everything.))
* Twi glances at the current state of mexico.

This is notable how?
There's more murders, more coordinated, and--wait, Mexico's really that bad?
Page 9 of this. I think that thingy at the side is saying that at the time of the report, it was number three in the international murder rate rankings.
...That would be more useful if the idiots labeled their axes. What units are those? Murders per year? Percent of population murdered per year? What?
I think it's murders per year. Though I can only hazard a guess, after all, I can not read Spanish.
I know for a fact that there are more than four murders every year in the US. Number per 105[/sup?

'Sht up, bsy. Also, no, cn xprs idas w/o thm'
And yet he needed half a dozen vowels to express those ideas.

'Yellow dragons? We could investigate it. Kyle even says he has a strategy for beating dragons.'
"Strategy? What strategy?"
He was talking to Devon, aka ragnarok's character. Not everything is about you, Akroma.

Kyle would find a dead pig, with a bullet wound, right through its skull.
Oh good, I was afraid it was Annabelle.

<Using my ability to take less physical damage and getting eaten before fucking up the dragon's insides.>
((Alright, note to self, write up rules for what happens to you inside a dragon.))
<Would said ability work on the dragons' digestive ensymes? Or hydrochloric acid?>

<So is biological life, second law of thermodynamics sais hello.>
((That is my single least favorite argument. Ever.))
<It doesn't violate thermodynamics. Reason 1: The laws of thermodynamics don't work like that. Reason 2: The sun. Please have your science module updated to a more recent version, such as the 19th-century one.>

"Good. I believe there is also a book version."
<You believe? I just died a little inside.>

<Hey Selina. Did you hear me earlier?>

3952
But we're not a hero.  We're not out to defeat the bad guy.  We're Bay 12, after all.  Our primary goal is to use up expensive materials for minor gain because why not.  We're in it for the looting, not the loot, and damnit if we're going to let something tell us we can't have our pet slime back.
Ciro =/= Bay12. I'm acting in-character, so sue me.
And why not? Because it's a waste of time and you probably won't even get your worthless slime back!

Also, check available mercenaries and sidequests. Might as well whilst we're here.
AlsoAlso give wizard hat to Cherish. Since we don't seem to be blood shaping anything, I'd rather the healer have enough juice for another heal or two.
+1 to these two, especially the hat.

To let us do more science on Minmus.
Minmus.
It gives bonuses to experiments and lets you run them more, doesn't it?

3954
Except you wrote extra gravitational eccelleration.

I know drag, but what's more is the gravitational force, accelleration being constant.
Part of why I like my explanation better.

Wait, I thought the rate of acceleration due to gravity (g, if I remember) was dependent on the gravitational pull of the object. It's been years since I took physics though, so I could be wrong, but isn't that what he was referring to?
Acceleration due to gravity depends on the mass of each object, the (square of the) distance between them, and the gravitational constant.

3955
I'm confused by your first statement.

Probably? I dunno.

3956
Apart from going through accounts of locals to maybe pinpoint in which area most ecnounters happen, and hoping that *maybe* IRIS satelites showing anything interesting in thermal vision or whatever cool science filters these guys have, I am not sure.
Thermal has too much noise; it's the tropics. Other cool science filters...well, I'd need specifics.

But seriously, going through the reports should already narrow things down, just by connecting the dots when you ask them which direction they came from and in which direction they left. Perhaps any of these areas show any geographical points of interest, like ancient ruins, cave systems and whatnot. Just imagine, what does a usual yellow dragon lair look like? What are the yellow dragons doing right now, and who could have seen anything of it that could make into onto the internet?
I'm going to give you a helpful spoiler right now: There is more than one place where there are yellow dragons. That's probably the biggest hindrance to your current quest.

Quote
Once the players are looking nthrough an area, yellow dragons like meddling, so maybe they'd actually approach the players, using their magical senses to notice that something has entered their territory that is unusual?
Indeed. You just need to start looking.

3957
The lab is physically attached to the lander.

And jumping is so inaccurate. Why go with the simple, clumsy solution when you can have a complex, elegant, engineering-ey solution?

3958
((subtle hint is not so subtle))

ICARUS will wait until @GWG has figured the next part out
No hint intended. A suggestion to think of some clever way to find where the yellow dragons are...somewhat intended.
After all, finding the activities of one specific species in areas like Central America and Amazonia is less like trying to find a needle in a haystack and more like trying to find a piece of straw in a haystack. Especially since the dragons prefer the more forested areas.

I'm sure you'll figure out something. At least, I hope you can, because I'm a bit stumped at the moment. Well, you could wait for more data to come in I guess.

3959
...assuming this was the real world.
Which for all we know it isn't.

Best to be on the safe side, IMHO.

3960
That wasn't part of the plan, no. But better Eve than a little spacecraft stranded in the middle of nowhere!
