And while the news is on, they mention a series of bloody murders in Mexico. Given the timing, some suspect it has something to do with the dragons.
((Plot twist, it doesn't and the yellow dragons are innocent of everything.))
* Twi glances at the current state of mexico.

This is notable how?
There's more murders, more coordinated, and--wait, Mexico's really that bad?
Page 9 of this. I think that thingy at the side is saying that at the time of the report, it was number three in the international murder rate rankings.
...That would be more useful if the idiots labeled their axes. What units are those? Murders per year? Percent of population murdered per year? What?

Keith Goes to find Will and attempts to figure out what he's going to do next... (67) It is a general success.
"...Yes? Hello Keith."

<Test, test.>
Annabelle jumps to her feet.
<Hey, Annabelle. Glad you got a bracelet. I heard you were working on some kind of dimension-hopping machine?"
<You heard correctly. And I successfully made one, until it got destroyed in my crash.>
<Well done. I've been working on something of the sort as well.>

"Hopefully we won't get hundreds of them..."
<YOU NEVER SAY THAT!>

"Yeah... we're not very good at keeping track of her..."
<Suddenly I'm concerned about how Elizabeth will be in a few years...>

Conny shrugs too and goes off to find Will with Ashley.
"Hello there."

I'll just leave this here.

(Titles made up.)

Sir Bedivere the Loyal (helped fight the Giant of Mt. St. Michael), Sir Bors de Ganis the Chaste (cousin to Sir Lancelot), Sir Gaheris the Calm (brother to Sir Gareth and Sir Gaiwaine, presumed nephew of King Arthur), Sir Galahad the Chivalrous (son of Sir Lancelot), Sir Gareth the Young (brother of Sir Gaheris and Sir Gaiwaine, presumed nephew of King Arthur), Sir Gaiwaine the Tempered (brother of Sir Gaheris and Sir Gareth, nephew of King Arthur), Sir Geraint the Dedicated (encountered the Sparrow Hawk Knight, whoever he was), Sir Kay the Tall (real title, foster brother of King Arthur, one of the "Three Enchanter Knights of Britain"), Sir Lamorak the Strong, Sir Launcelot Du Lac the Great (father of Sir Galahad), Sir Percivale the Pure, and Sir Tristan the Champion.

If you need specific strengths and flaws for each:
Spoiler: Here you go (click to show/hide)

Does this work?

What could go wrong?
In that vein, we could just ask Oric next time we see him.
Or in the spirit of compromise, we could rub Oric.

Even in such a case that we give up, its still worth grabbing his leftovers since they make good regents.
+1

Also, +1 to checking the Greens and taking the soul star. I'm not sure if we should waste soul charge into reviving slog, though.
+1

Soul charge is a renewable resource. It is worth wasting it to revive Slog.
-1
Slog is basically worthless except as a warm body, which we have plenty of. In addition, Soul Charge is as renewable as...soil fertility--sure, it can be done, but it's not going to be easy, fun, or fast.

...You know, I bet this game would be a lot more fun if we weren't nigh-omnipotent.

Turn the world into our own personal sandbox game.

I figured that out by checking the Wikipedia article. (If I hadn't I would have said so.)

...So, because Marie's subconscious doesn't care about rationalizing stuff, Robert's power doesn't work on her? He'd better watch out for scientists, then.
And you don't need to rationalize if you know. I'd say Will would be even less into rationalization than Marie.

Well, I suppose the idea of Robert is that it makes you 'know' he's 'human', hence the rationalization. Even scientists wouldn't be immune, because the mind just works that way afaik.
And why doesn't Marie's mind "just work that way"? After all, her psychology has always proven to be essentially human, which makes sense as she is (as I understand it) formed from the (nightmarish components of the) subconscious of humanity.

Quote
That said, I was going to ask about the apparent seperation of Will's mind and his power. And yeah, that works just fine, thank you.
Well...it's a thing. I'd say more, but like I said...spoilers. So read Worm, it's worth the read anyways.

I go out for dinner and an argument on whether Will should continue being a mary sue by no selling a characters power breaks out.
It's not Mary Suing unless it causes Will to take over the narrative. It certainly isn't Mary Suing if it doesn't have any impact on the plot!

Robert's power is like that one device from the Vampires of Venice episode of doctor who.
Helpful, since all I've seen are the adipose episode and the Fires of Pompeii one.

Quote
It make the brain assume they thing you are looking at is human, and the brain fills in the gaps. E.I. if you looked at his reflection, you wouldn't see a human, but something else. It kinda warns you of danger. In Robert's case, your brain sees a human, since he doesn't show any danger.
Huh?

Quote
Also, Does his power work on perception or rationalization?
Will's? Not really. Again, it's based on the power of Tattletale from Worm; you can see it in action in this interlude, although be warned: It contains (minor) spoilers.
If not Will's, or really even if it is, learn how to use pronouns unambiguously.

"Um... yous upset Angel?" Meme looks worried.

Mimi is just all super ultra innocent and huggable!
"How is she...existing?"

"To be fair I don't think that anything has really gone the way it should have. And not much I can do to search a forest that won't either take forever or take me making a search party."
"True enough. Now go start forever if you don't have anything else to say."

I take it you never use ion engines?
Not successfully!

NERVAs can result in them too.
Please don't acronym. If you do, the abbr key is nice.

3989
It's also possible that it was Mili's Soul Star; and since we fused with Mili, it could also be ours.
Possible and questionable.

Also, everyone assumed you said he knew everything and you never bothered to correct us.
Why would you assume I said that?

Quote
As for the argument: basically, when it comes down to it, it sounds to me like Robert's power works with the aid of the viewer's subconscious. It tells them an idea ("Robert is a perfectly normal, boring  human!") and then they subconsciously conjure up images, sounds, and all that to rationalize that idea and make it make sense. Your mind does this sort of thing all the time for little stuff like filling in gaps in your vision .Because Marie's subconscious (or conscious for that matter) is uniquely endowed with the ability to not give a fuck about rationalizing ideas with senses, well...
...So, because Marie's subconscious doesn't care about rationalizing stuff, Robert's power doesn't work on her? He'd better watch out for scientists, then.
And you don't need to rationalize if you know. I'd say Will would be even less into rationalization than Marie.

Quote
As for your arguments, the perception doesn't work, because the power would just subconsciously fill in the little tells all the better, I assume.
Why? Robert's power works on people, not powers. Will's power certainly isn't part of his subconscious; it's much too vocal (whenever I feel like it wouldn't clutter things up and/or would be funny) and separate from Will's consciousness for that. His power would, unaffected by Robert's, be telling Will things that are off with what Robert's power was telling his subconscious. And, since he hasn't really needed to rationalize anything ever since he got his power, the fact that he is rationalizing stuff would also clue in his power that something was wrong. If nothing else, it starts a feedback loop that his conscious ind couldn't help but notice.
