Use Kick of Authority on the crab mecha. Why was my action skipped?
Yeah, two turns ago. You've died since then.Reread the OP. You're still alive. Just bound.Get free. Have legions help.
Or a memorial service.Additionally, funerals could be held without the body in-case it cannot be retrieved. So, a slabbing ceremony that ends with the name being engraved on the slab?
I actually really like this idea, but the only problem is where would the funeral take place and what conditions exactly have to be met to have a funeral? Obviously you would need a dwarf who died, but what else would make the funeral trigger?I'm not sure about the requirements. I think that a funeral's requirements should be roughly analogous to a wedding's, only with a dead guy instead of a happy couple.
I'd imagine that a funeral can only trigger if a zone is designated for funerals (using a zone designation would count chairs in the designation for example), if a dwarf had the job enabled for funerals (I'm not sure at this time what the job would be called), and if one of the following conditions are met:
A) The dwarf who died has at least 5+ family members and/or close friends.
B) If more than five dwarfs died in a siege (this funeral would then trigger a time after the siege) (attendants would be random and/or relatives and/or close friends of the deceased)
C) The dwarf who died was a hero or renounced for something (ex. killing a megabeast) (would bring the most dwarfs in for mourning)
Optional D) The dwarf was a significant Noble (aka 'Attend Party')
Additionally, funerals could be held without the body in-case it cannot be retrieved.
I think the benefit of having funerals would be is that they would add more depth to a game, and it could have a little room for more fun, like for example bad timing.
That's analogous to saying a creature looks like an ectotherm. What do the HMC's even look like?My guess: Eldrich Abominations.
