We'll need to give the mermaid more than a trip back to the ocean for her to leave us the bracelet. She walked here, didn't she? I suggest we appoint her Interim Diplomat of Ocean and Night, or something like that which basically says that she's the one in charge of communications between us and the merfolk for now.

Trig-R-HPY-1 turns from the firefight and locates the PLC office! By now, it's getting crowded, and a riot is starting to form over a lack of burn cream. He heads down the corridor, and gets interrupted by a man in a yellow lab coat.
"Hey, I need a liddle thing to read, I'm testing a new microscope. Got anything?" Obviously, Trig accepts, but blanches when this man turns his claim slip to ashes. At least he had breakfast...until he abandoned it...
Cat-R-URS-1 reads the fine print.
Mayfair-R-FUN-1 is still unconscious. Just more meaningfully.
Well, then. I'll make sure there's an update by tomorrow evening.
How many turns of inactivity should be grounds for terminating a clone?
