Ok, here is my piece/list on why Alice should not be converted. It’s in a spoiler so you don’t have such a long page to scroll down.

Alice should not be converted because of these three ideas: friendship, morals, and health of our character.
Friendship:
-At the begin of the story, Alice was one of our character’s first friends, after Foghorn and Esmeralda.
-During this time, we had fun and gained her trust.
-After getting in an argument with her father, Alice was hooked up to a magic torture device as a punishment because of her insisting that she hangs out with us. Even after that ordeal, she comes back to help us with whatever we need.
-Even after the epic roll, which made Foghorn go on a rage and tell us to convert Alice, Alice stayed even though she could have very well just escape of into the woods. She did not.
-She stayed with us even though, she was afraid of Gwen.
-Alice fought valiantly with us in battle. In the raid of Everpine, she played the important roll of fighting and distracting the guards so that Gwen and our character could eat and spread terror. What does she have to gain out of this? Not much, she is just a loyal friend and comrade helping her brothers in arms.
-In the barn showdown, Alice fought with valor as the Posse attacked. Even after being wounded, she continued to fight against elves charging down towards us. She put us over herself. Why? Other than being an amazing friend, it may be a dark tale; she wanted to die.

I have to sleep with one eye open with Gwendolyn around, and if you just keep getting more consorts one of them will eventually suffer a lapse in judgment and eat me as a snack. You blink. Are you sure? Thats a big descis..."

Alice starts to sniffle. "Of course I'm not sure... I understand its going to suck. I don't want this to happen... But I don't want to die. And I don't want my good friend to pick a fight with my father on my behalf."

You start to explain your gifts to her, but she cuts you off, explaining that she doesn't want to think about it and that she trusts your judgement in making the decision for her. "If you need time to think about, I could go spend some time in the wilderness. I don't think it would be safe for me to sleep in the tower, but hey, there are no Boogeymen around these parts and I love the great outdoors. I'll check in every few days to see if you have made up your mind... I just wish there was some way I could pay off my debt to you, remain human, and remain safe."

"Thats assuming you live through today."You say with a smile, hoping to difuse the situation. She laughs a bit.

If I die today I'm taking half the population of Everpine with me."
You and Alice then spend some time joking, laughing, and talking politely in elven while Gwendolyn works the prisoners."

From this I see that she wants to remain human. We can do this indeed. Jimea can be told to not attack Alice. Gwen and Alice made up with each other in the same update, this quote was taken from. Finally the thief needs to be told, but we still need to keep an eye on her. We can protect Alice by being by here bedside, while she sleeps (we don’t need sleep for a week or two) and read books and talk to our friends. After a few days, Alice will be able to walk again and hopefully camp out in the woods for a while.
I am willing to lose an ally for a while because of the service and trust she has put into us. She is just a scared 16 year old girl. Being a night troll for eternity or until a violent end. Let grow and think of what she wants in life. If she comes back asking for refugee, we shall let her in because without a doubt, if our character was to fall down into deep decline, Alice would let us into her home.
A long term goal can be getting Rox with Alice.

P.S. Thanks you to anyone who actually read through this suggestion because it is just in fact kind big argument for “goody two shoes”-ness and doing something "morally right".

Wouldn't the god(ess?) just pick the mermaid because the mermaid is a devout follower?  Still might be a good idea to ask though.
