I suspect photosynthesis had a slight role in that...
Besides, for most organisms oxygen is still toxic.

Can we see the life-tree next turn?

Grow.
Put wheels on four-wheeler.
Create mount for chainsaw launcher on four-wheeler.
Add chainsaw launcher.
Target practice. Also, teach the kid to drive while we shoot.

I'll George will be talking with the AI. About anything she/he/it wants to, ideally leading the conversation to what happened and where the AI is. And etiquette for talking to AIs, notably pronouns.

Two weeks and change since the last post...never started...probably stillborn.

Okay, but keep them recognizable...not hard for a guy in a mechasuit and a Valkyrie...

Ninjitsu has other perks, too.
It's not ideal for combat, but let's try to avoid unarmed combat anyways, neh?

Everybody knows that there's such a thing as point defenses, right?
Typically designed for missiles, which don't take evasive action or stay far away from the ship because, you know, that would invalidate their point.

btw what kind of software are you using?
I'd also like to know.

...Amazingly, I have nothing else to comment on.

I suggest that we work on a couple cheap drones for now. Possibly a sensors drone and a combat drone. I'll resubmit the Hiram-I.
Name: Hiram-I Railgun Defensive Drone (HIRDD)
Desired Volume: Drone (~5 meters in diameter)
Team: ? At this point, I don't care. Maybe Brian and Mark?
Estimated Time: 1.5 Months?
General Description: A roughly spherical drone, with main engines on one end, auxiliary rockets to the sides, and a turret to the "front" end of the drone. This turret holds a single railgun, firing at the lazy speed of 150 rounds per minute. These rounds are 85% plastic darts which are designed, in both polymer and form, to pierce ship hulls. The whole drone is designed economically, so it can be made in large swarms. While a few are hardly a threat to an armed ship, due to their frailty and the fairy primitive AI, in large numbers they can be impressive. A hundred or so Hiram-I's can probably fill a smallish ship with holes until it loses atmosphere before the larger ship can make a notable dent in their numbers. Against well-armored ships, they're not so good, but the AI's tendency to stay as far away from other ships as they can while still being able to hit their target means that only actual weapons work against them--most point-defense lasers don't have the accuracy to hit them, even if forced to try.
Priorities: Cash Cost 2, Agility 1, Time to Make 1, Durability (neglected) 1

(What's IC Cost?)

Nothing, just like other charismatic villains.
To be fair, I added Napoleon, then you asked why he belonged there and made an innacurate claim about one of the bigger dicks of history.  Wrex never actually mentioned Napoleon, that's why I bolded it for him.
My bad about attributing.
I think it's fair to say that Napoleon was a better strategist than Hitler, who wouldn't let some of his best weapons (Panzers) be used without his personal orders, fought a war on two fronts at once, declared war on the nation with the second-largest military in the world when it was preoccupied with Japan, etc.

Um...sorry about the derail.

Sure, but please specifically state what you're grabbing or you might find yourself doffing your armor to put on that sweet Robin Hood costume...

When did I say it was a history joke?
When you brought Napoleon into this.
Also, I'm probably going to see this tomorrow and realize I'm being an ass or something, but right now I don't really care.  Napoleon had a lot in common with Hitler, and he was of average height.  I don't see what is so hard to understand about this.
I didn't bring Napoleon into this, Wrex did. And it's possible to joke about historical figures without making historical jokes. And there were many differences between Hitler and Napoleon, not all moral.
See: Napoleon had a fairly successful conquest (until Russia), Hitler didn't (Russia didn't help, but wasn't the sole issue).

Anyways...Wrex, what IS Napoleonic about the PC?

((GreatWyrmGold, I'm getting suspicious here.))
My dice seem to hate you.

-----

That was totally on purpose. Now, STAB HIM IN THE BRAIN THROUGH ROOF OF MOUTH!
Then retreat to safe distance.
[6] You do! The zombie rips off your right lower arm for your troubles!
Retreat successful, coward!

Outfit dwarves in goblinite. Establish dominion.
[2] The goblinite is in the real world.

Flamethrower the mini marines.
[3v2] You spray flame on them. They're heated, but the powered armor doesn't burn.

Spawn thinking of a pen.
[4] Nothing of note.
Phew. Dice giving you a break.

inb4 "(6) Your pen is super sharp, and slippery! You trip, and (1) fall on it face first! Respawn?'
Ha ha, wrong!

Destroy the last zombie and stuff the unused Doomblade corpses in the machine
[2] Nope. The zombie's too nimble...somehow.

Destroy the last zombie and stuff the unused Doomblade corpses in the machine
If I lose my hand, toss that in next turn and see if I can get myself a replacement.
Does a lower arm count as a hand?

Toss the nearest object I can find into the machine, complaining horribly. Think of healing potions when I press the button.

"Sorry... Kresth (His name!)"
You find...[2 for player, 6 for...oh, come on! Rerolling, just stuff in the room...13/13] the goblinite into the machine. [3] Within are 10 grayish potions in iron bottles.

GM Turn:
The possessed rifle shoots...Doomblade, really? And [50] explodes.
Kresth growls weirdly...[4v5] He still looks normal...?
The Marines [6] shoot everyone lethally, although that includes each other. Respawn?

Hey GWG, since I'm not suing you anymore, could you stop counter-suing me then?
Sure.

So, can I just join in?
Sure.

I know, I know, we gotta get back to the actual topic, but no, he wasn't known for being height-conscious.  The height thing was because France switched to the metric system, which made Napoleon seem shorter than he really was.  He's known for being short, but that's inaccurate, so I'm not going to count that as a good history joke.
When did I say it was a history joke?

where were we when we left off?
Waiting for me to type up and post a new update since the writeup-in-process was lost due to human induced savefile error.
That sucks. I've done something similar in a work-intensive game. More rolling and writing than research and writing, but still.

and a LOT of explosives to destroy the gold in Knox.
In the movie being referred to, I think the premise was that an especially dirty nuclear device was used, and the goal wasn't merely to obliterate the gold, but to make the site so radioactive that it would be more practical and cost effective to simply wait a couple decades for it to cool off rather than attempting to immediately extract it. Thus removing it from circulation for the remainder of the villain's useful lifetime.
That makes more sense.
A lot of sense, for a Bond movie.
