Um...how many slots do the meson guns, heat displacement, etc take up?

Do I get a bonus to Industry for Efficient Industry?

Oh, and they're not lasers. Mesons are subatomic particles generated by the meson guns, with a variable half-life calculated so they decay into destructive radiation, energy, etc, inside the ship.
