Women would be married of at the age of 11 in medieval times, usually to an older man
and i think most of us can agree that was creepy...
Besides, that wasn't average behavior at the time. And elves would be like 50-60 before they're 11 in elf years. Probably. Of course, this math suggests that elven gestation period is four years, so take with a grain of salt.

Race: Asomin
Smallish creatures, like reddish crabs with arms instead of claws. Asomin are native to Asom, a small world which is desert except around the mountains and oceans. Asomin only live in damp areas, so until widespread irrigation and terraforming became possible recently they were confined to three smallish habitable regions and one puny region of highlands near the equator.
Once they were connected by basic irrigation, a period of swift technological development occurred. The three main regions of habitation became three warring states, sending armies accompanied by massive water tanks to avoid dehydration to each other to battle over swathes of desert and near-desert. Finally, the Highlanders (who remained peaceful to all three nations and traded with them) created several technoloical developments: Computing, space flight, and a small base on one of the larger tiny bodies orbiting in a few "rings" around Asom. Asomin of the three nations quickly moved against the Highlanders in fear, but they used their advanced robots and bombers against the nations' primitive automobiles and Gatling-esque machine guns combined with natural terrain advantages and the lack of fresh water aside from the highlands' springs to survive. Eventually, they decided to simply destroy the enemies, proving they could by dropping a fission warhead onto a small island within sight distance of territories of all three nations. The nations surrendered; the Highlanders, fearing rebellion, ruled justly and well. Recently, they developed interstellar travel to supplement their impressive arsenal of technology and efficient industry.

Tech:
Military--Advanced Armor, Electromagnetic Fields1, Heat Displacement2, Meson Beams3
Civilian: AI,  Efficient Industry, Quantum-Entanglement Communications4, Supercomputing
1Force fields
2Space Stealth
3Like the Traveller version--armor-ignoring beam weapons
4Ansible, kinda

I'll make sure this is all OK before moving on. Small empire, all in one heavily-colonized system.

Ach, of course this was started while I was gone, this seems amazing.
I'd like to be wait-listed, until then I'll keep watching.
Waitlisting.

((I'm afraid I won't be able to continue with this RTD guys. Real life issues are going to keep me occupied for some time, so I'm going to go ahead and sign off now.

GreatWyrmGold, it's been fun. Thanks for allowing me to join. I apologize if this inconveniences you in any way. Good luck all.))
Sorry to hear this. Gamerlord, submit a creature soonish if you want to claim your spot.

Behe will try and use a mutation point to enter a very deep slumber, one that slows the body's metabolism down extremely low, and remain that way for a...Period of time. A trial run, so to speak.
The Wave-Reader follows the scent trail and eats whatever food it comes across.
Magnus will search for something to eat
((For the plot, this will fail badly.))
Pinky looks for a hiding place to mutate in.
HP crawls to the food source he smelled earlier.

-----

Behe tries trancing in a cocoon to reduce his metabolism. It kinda helps.
Wave-Reader attempts to follow the scent trail. It encounters a large beast eating a worm much like itself.
Magnus finds some meat, in the form of a larger beast. It is not as big as the creatures which everyone has been encountering, and it has four legs, but its teeth and speed make up for it. Magnus is quickly eaten, to the disapproving cries of a nearby creature.
Pinky finds a corner, where it won't be likely to be stepped on.
HP follows the scent to a massive box of a green, cold material. It smells so inviting...although simultaneously disquieting.

Grow into five foot tall humanoid. I.e. If covered in cloak, could pass for human.
[6] You are a five-foot-tall toad-thing. [3] You can pass for a deformed human.

[5] Your church functions better without a live prophet. No +1, though.
I dead? I thought I rose after the whole zombie thing.
Maybe. Who cares.

Quote
anyway spread my religion across the water to Europe

do a talk show
[4] Religion spread to the UK. [5] Talk show better than Oprah.

Cone back to life.
Get out if debt.
Improve athority following of converts.
[1] You get caught by a big tantacley thing. It eats your soul...[4] $3,000 raised. [2] Those seamen are just so stubborn. [6] Faithful overfanatical in your absence (+3).

Possess elephant, remake my cult into The Fabulous Worshippers of Pachydermius, Slayer of Infidels! See who wants to mess with me then.
[4] Elephant possessed! [1] They attack the heathen elephant, as the Fabulous Worshippers of Pachydermius are illegal.

RAISE THE ARMY! INVADE CORAI'S CITY. PASS LAW MAKING ALL RELIGIONS BESIDES MY OWN ILLEGAL! REVIVE!
[1] Your space marine--pretty much your entire army--gets taken down in one shot. The sniper promptly gets a medal and your followers disperse. Corai's congressmen outnumber yours greatly.

Ooooh!

A war over religion! How delightfully fresh and unique!

Something something Crusades and the entire history of the nation of Israel aside, with sixes factored in, I see both sides committing suicide before the day is out.
Veeery clever...

SEND MARINES(Or if I don't control the army, a zerg rush of fanatical right-wingers) TO DEAL WITH MCCLAY.[/i][/b]
You send in the marines, no roll required, but mcclay's army surrenders and converts! Lazy outnumbered pizza-eating surrender monkeys...

comeback to life somewhere far far away, dissolve CCCS, remake it.

[5] You come back to life as a half-cat wallceilingcrawler! [3] New CCCS made. Corai offered help.

Why does no one care about the freaky half-man half-woman that is corai? I am dissapoint.
Corai isn't as talkative or extreme as me, you, or Dirg.
...The Head Moderate, extreme. Guess trying to be a moral pillar will do that to ya.
Yeah, the whole actually interfering thing is what set you apart. You should've just stayed in a secure stronghold and snooted at everybody endlessly.
And I would have gotten complaints for not acting on my beliefs, like misko ragged on Dirg for doing. And me, for a while.

What? You never heard of Powered by a Forsaken Child?
Ooh, it's like someone hitting you with your own sword! Ouch!  That's gotta hurt, man!
Not really. He can quote tropes all he likes, but without any sort of evidence it's meaningless. I haven't seen anything to suggest that child souls would be anything but younger, less mature souls.
It's my belief that the use of a child soul would greatly increase the potency of dark manipulation magic because of fear. Also There may or may not be a time limit on how long souls last. Child souls may well last longer.
Well, it's all speculation. Let's assume child souls are exactly like adult souls until we hear from the GM, okay?
I still think the immaturity and distractability of child souls would make them less potent.

What do I need to make solar cells and such?))
((Just choose two things you want to be able to make, there isn't a list.  If you want to be able to make biologically immortal people then you can, as I understand it.))
Okay...TECHS: Quantum Computing, Advanced Machinery

I just can't believe nothing truly bad has happened yet, although, for an RTD, it does have a high level of people going to NPC's for medical help. usually they either ignore their wounds and kill themselves, or they try to fix themselves.
Kinda balanced out by the quality of the hospital...

Rocket-pipe self towards bear.

I think the seriousness was lost around the time a giant, sentient eel was added to the cast.
