Actions:
attempt to break the barrier
Behe will try and understand what this sensation is, and since it's unpleasant, it must be bad, right? Maybe a way to stop the pain would be good...
The wave-reader calms itself, and listens carefully in an attempt to locate prey.
Look at shadowy figures I guess.
Search for something else to eat. Preferably not myself.
Move towards the shadows

-----

GS rams the barrier with its wrath-filled body. The barrier cracks; strange roughly spherical things flow from the crack. Soon, a chunk of barrier washes away! GS is swept down and strikes a hard surface. It feels the tubes in its flesh ripping away. (-1 HP ((Lucky you)))
Behe determines that, while the feeling isn't bad, it says something's wrong.
Wave-reader can't find any prey, but the large shadows seem to be agitated. Its hearing picks up distressed cries. It also notes that one of the smaller shadows has broken out of its dome.
Ubik watches the shadows move towards a dome which has broken, becoming more transparent from the top down. It also sees that the shadow within has flowed out and struck the floor.
H.P. finds a neat little worm to eat! It's not very tasty, and when it bites it, the worm spews air and H.P. starts to feel a little short of breath...
The Magnus ((Wow, first overshot)) smashes into a barrier, spilling out and hitting the floor. Several tubes break loose. (-5 HP)

I vote that, since we seem to be an insect larva who is in danger of death, we put off names.
You're acting like characters in worse situations haven't been named on Bay12 before.
Typically, they've been sentient.

Roland Darkknoll the Wise

Characteristics:
Str 3
End 3
Dex 4
Wis 10

Traits:
Undead (liche--actually a vampire, but treat as liche)
Summoner
Spellcaster (Necromancy, Wind)
Chessmaster

Patron: Armillean

The Isle of the Dark Knoll:
Buildings: 3
Population: 1
Resources: 3
Magic: 5

Roland was an intelligent sailor, honest and with great potential. One night in port, he lost his way due to unknown, liquid reasons and spent the night with a nice young lady who turned out to be several times as old as anyone Roland knew, as well as technically dead. She had him join her in vampirism.
This did not stop Roland. Despite the myths, vampires merely dislike the sun; thus, he was perfectly fine. He used a long life to become captain of the ship and lead its crew to prosperity.
Roland was celebrating his 250th birthday when the ship ran aground on a reef. He survived, but the others never showed up. He found himself on a remote and sparsely-populated isle. Using centuries of learning and the vampiric wizardry he had accumulated, Roland lead the islanders into a more modern era from the barbarism they were in.
A decade ago, when Roland was 518 years old and 497 years a vampire, a ship found the Isle of the Dark Knoll, named for a low hill with rich loam. Thus, Roland learned more of the outside world. A nearby lord gifted Roland a ship for his 500th "deathday," which Roland used to bring the innovations of the past centuries to his isle.
Roland rules wisely and well. Even the dark, pragmatic part of his soul agrees with this. Roland sees his neighbors mistreating their peasants and committing atrocious acts, and seeks to end the cruelty of the world by imposing his "gold-fisted rule" over it...or at least enough that the rest follows suit.

Phrase it in a way that makes it clear that we're just pointing out the practical issues.

I don't think it's likely. I'm also pretty sure the two suns are within a couple AU of each other.
Proxima centauri orbit around Alpha centauri AB. They are 15.000 AU apart.
Let me clear that up.
I seem to recall that the two suns we're orbiting the planet around are within a couple AU of each other.

I just sent a furbie to go cuddle a corpse of a guy trying to kidnap a suicidal one. What more do you want?
Ahh, but you didn't know that. You were just a weirdo mailing furbies to people. No Wonder why your Lady so unsatisfied.

LICHETTE:
(2+3) LICHETTE STANDS NEAR DIRG, THEN LETS HIM LEAN ONTO HER SHOULDER.
"Look, Dirg... Maybe you shouldn't be fighting... I mean, you almost got killed,"
And you so damn short. I mean damn man! She lets you lean on her shoulder.

If you were any less manly your wiener would fall off.
Fuck traditional ideas of manliness. Dude being short than chick is perfectly okay. Better than okay, even.
Yeah, misko. Think of the midget men and the really tall women.
If you're going to pick on Dirg, at least pick on him for something he has control over.

I don't think it's likely. I'm also pretty sure the two suns are within a couple AU of each other. Besides, do we want to make travelling to the diamond world so difficult?

yes, keep the bears.

Also, with Alice, I agree that we shouldn't use our "gift" on her. Go fishing/ washing, and remind her of the many reasons why that is a bad idea. If nothing else, remind her that
a)she will become hideous by human standards
b)this is infinitely more binding than marriage
c) we have known each other for two days.

If we were a human, with those points taken into consideration, would this be a good idea?
And if she's still interested, tell her to talk it over with Foghorn. Worst-case scenario, we can honestly say we tried to talk her out of it.

Just swim to shore, eat, and go from there.

It also seems stupid to go to battle outnumbered, untrained, AND drunk.

(...there needs to be a major size or orbit difference to avoid them whacking each other out of orbit)
This implies that it's possible.

Climb a high tree and hide in the leaves!
Unless it's autumn or winter!
