It follows it very closely. The term candy is a meme. A meme is a piece of information that passes through a group like a gene. It fits.
I think a better description of meme is 'virus'. A viral idea that somehow clamps into the mind and get pumped out to others.

And yes this circus analogy is most surely a meme.
Not too bad, I guess. I need to read more Dawkins.

Oh, right, dwarves.

...Any farmers? Specifically, of the dairy variety?

((Malus Scripto made its speech so loudly that everyone in the universe heard it. Or is the sudden plot point confusion and suckish?))

Wait, plot?
Seriously, though, I have no idea how this relates to anything.

Or if he gets his own arm chopped off.

Rabbits graze, just not much.

Meh, no vampiric evidence yet. That elf just sounds awesome.

The island itself. Look, there's a thingy to the west of the volcano that looks like the one part of Texas, and the outliney part is shaped like Texas's border, and the wagon is on Houston! And the volcano covers a lot of Texas.

I'll download ASAP and should have my first impressions up by this evening.

Even the overseer.

Thought it was something like that.

The pirates could easily fly around... and we're probably bigger than the beacon, so we'd need to get some distance past the beacon to get cover...

(Out of curiosity, why is the jump beacon so big?)
Computer systems, Jump dampeners (to cancel out interference), power generation, and lots of armour.

Since it's a stationary station, there's no point in keeping it light or small when large is cheaper.
Ah.

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: Bones, Fey moods and the land curse

You cannot deconstruct a workshop that has been claimed for a strange mood - you will have to wait for the dwarf to go insane.

Exactly what kind of bones did your dwarf claim? It was my understanding that body parts need to have certain properties in order for them to be reanimated, and an ordinary stack of "bones" shouldn't have any of those...
They have ever since the new undead came out.

Iron being the first inorganic in the raws, is what artifact materials default to.

FBs don't leave the map, but they can lurk in unexplored territory for a while.
