Thanks for quoting my PM. :p
Well, it's kinda important for half the group...

But yeah I.. Can't find it either? Strange. I was never aware that was a thing. :p
I suspect that the two are related.

"Will, meet your opposite. Lily, meet YOUR opposite."
"Huh. I expected she'd be taller. And a girl."
"Hardly logical, as you are a woman of above-average size."
"Are you calling me fat?"
"No, tall."
"Really."
"...Yes."
"..."
"..."

Seems nice.

Besides power. And control.
Those aren't skills.

I didn't know there were any advantages or disadvantages to being Cursed or Triggered. :o
1. How have you not noticed this before?
2. It's right...um...huh. Well, Cursed mages get +1 Power and -1 Control, which I'm sure I mentioned somewhere.

Grate again?
Why do I have to do the dangerous, destructive experiments?

What thing? This sounds important. Is it related to Grate not being allowed to have his pill machine any more? Where is it now, by the way?
*whistles innocently*
Boy, you really WERE out of the loop. Yeah, it is. Iunno.

Await Mr. Miya's orders.
"Get inside the bunker. Lay low until you they get in closer. Whatever you do, keep the attention away from you, the sods can distract them so you can use your manip."
Grate nods, nervous about using the space magic again.
C'mon, what's the worst that could happen?

Editing action once I find it.

((Did Logan see the prince get nailed? That might be something worth feeling guilty about. That was hilarious. c:
I suppose.

Quote
Also what was the -1 on control for? Just curious.))
You're cursed. They always get -1 Control.

Why no levels from magic?
Same reason you couldn't take magical skills at the start: There are no magical skills to level up in.

Well, since Selina apparently can't feel her limbs from the fall, she lays there, unsure what to do.
It's more from the tourniquets.

Hm... Refine the design further.

How long until I get a stat up?
You don't, not with magic. That reminds me, though, others should be getting XP.

Kyle looks over to her having been focused on Mythbusters.
"You finally off pause? Let's go."
"Huh?"

Quote
Kyle leads her to Will.
"Hey, who's this?"
"I'd like to ask the same question."

Upend the empty chest and cover the plant with it.
+1

Also, theory that borders on bad fanfic:
Guess what I started reading recently?
ಠ_ಠ
+1
Which might be one of those "+1 to the -1" situations...

What kind of an absolute dipshit would make up such a thing for behavioural modification?!
Sadly, that's not the worst example of child abuse that's supposed to be good for them that I've heard of. No, that would be the various groups who deny their children medical care, ranging from the anti-vaccine nutjobs to Scientologists, who combine it with other kinds of neglect.

edit: hey GWG, when does the plot continue?
When I get around to it. And get a good chance to introduce the next bit.
This works pretty well as something that gets bits added here and there.

-Time Warp-

"T- That was good..."
So. Does HILDA get a new personality or what?

4466
Kyle shrugs again.
"Wanna meet the person who is probably your opposite?"
"Sounds neat."

Meme tries to get all the younger people to sleep in a comfy pile so she can curl up with them.
Angel decides to go along with it.

Lily waves her hand in front of Kyle's face as he mind-sexts HILDA.

That's tricky. They're pretty clearly inhuman, with vaguely serpentine traits plus a generally humanoid form. Their shells are glossy and difficult to penetrate, their blood is deadly, and they are both deadly and impregnate people with other monsters.

A possible interpretation is a tribe of people, possibly of dark complexion, who had access to tough metal armor which may have obscured their eyes and facial features. Quite likely, they were fearsome warriors, probably supplementing their raids with razing villages and certainly committing large-scale rape. Such individuals could easily have had serpentine traits added to them in the retelling, especially if their armor had a snake motif (example: Scandanavians and such wearing wolf-skins with the wolf heads as hats became corrupted into dog-headed men). The deadly blood, which rendered places difficult to live, could have been an addition due to their alleged diabolical nature, an additional admission to their martial skill, or inspired by the tribe's aforehypothesized tendency to destroy raided villages.

This theory does not, however, cover why the third and fourth Aliens movies were created.

Maybe?

4469
That's a really good idea. Maybe SSTO SABRE, then 10+ Ions?
Sounds good. Macey made an SSTO fighterjet with one turbojet engine and half a dozen ions, which is largely what inspired by horribly-failed attempts.

Also, ion engines look cool.
They also sound cool.

I get all that. The only thing I don't get is which of the markers I'm supposed to fire for. I only saw four: The yellow prograde and retrograde markers, and two lavender markers that weren't the right one.
