Alright, let's see...none of the old rules got a majority. Mining came closest, getting 5/10.

So, let's divide everyone still interested into some committees. I'll set up three general ones: the Industries Committee, focusing on work, the Relations Committee, focusing on various interactions between fiefs and NPC groups and such*, and the Domestic Committee, focusing on miscellaneous stuff, especially how each fief works.
You can apply for two, or three if you must. Please discuss as often as you can and let us in the main thread know what's been decided at least once every couple days, even if it's "nothing."


And what are the other games like this? I might be interested in one.

The kobold skeletons [1] sorta get entangled in their armor.
The chef mourns the orc's choice to eat Objective raw, then decides to try cooking kelpman. [6v5] Unholy_Pariah is stuffed into a cooking pot, which he punches a hole through in a rusty point. Doing it twice more makes an acceptable armor.
The rogue Monoculus [5] fires several missiles at the mob, dealing [13*5] 65 damage.
TFB gestures! [5] Several things shudder and begin to move! TFB uses the Despoiler to turn the kobold skeletons into [4] gnoll skeletons.

I think that this idea will be doomed WHEN Toady improves conversations.
Until then...well, you're controlling the character. Stuff like this makes you painfully aware of that distance between character and player. Also, for now I think it's fine and by the time it matters Toady will be changing the conversation code anyways.
