Have I been redwarfed?

While I'm on the subject, what are my death-, ghost-, and slab-counts?

I've done a fortress without using the wagon!

Presumably, they will live on or closer to the surface than mountain dwarves. Possibly they will use shovels instead of picks, and thereby inspire Toady to make digging implements which can dig only soil.

I wonder if we can mod Stonefall traps to use other items, or if they're hardcoded...
It's hardcoded.

Autumn has come. A family with three kids and a second fishery worker (the first was the father in the family) arrived in summer. Two new glass furnaces are up, boosting glass production. Yay!

Misdirection leads the group toward a burning building. Seer slowly removes the rubble, piece by piece, with his powers as Sigurd moves it much faster. You start rescuing people.

"Not bad."
You turn around, and see a big black guy--black as in the color, not as in African-American--wearing a muscle shirt and camo cargo shorts approach, followed by a guy that looks half-chimp.
"Name's Sin, you must be from the League. I've heard of some of you. Let's get to heroing, no?"

Oh, my bad. He's available for hire. Try capitalization.

[5] Chopper is available for hire, and for really cheap. You hire him.
[3] You haggle the price down to $2,900, and after that they say they'd be better off with the insurance money than the loss they'd be incurring.
[2] The diggerbots dig a pit.
[5] HERACLES's arm is better than ever!
[6] The parts are air-dropped onto the castle roof, putting a hole in it.
[6] You get an instruction manual. The cutebolds look at it, seem to understand, and [3] blow a hole in the castle's wall.

Well, that's enough work and headaches for one day.

END OF DAY 16 OF VILLAINY

Sure.
The backpack can't be a magic item if yo already have both of your magic items.

Sure, start your actions.

Did Jake leave the air duct map?
If so, take it and study it. If not, follow Jake, apologize for my rudeness, and ask what he meant.

Eventually someone will have to write up what's going on. :P

The GM will probably write Sin into the story once it's reasonable for him to show up.
I most certainly intend to, rather than see what you guys write Sin as being like.

We already have an animalperson, but just submit a sheet, I think.
Cat person, even. Still, yup. Codename, real name, powers, backstory, wait for confirmation.

You're near the outskirts of the city, and the fire is slowly spreading. Oh, and the firemen are working, but when the whole city's burning...

DF Gameplay Questions / Re: Water Pressure trap
« on: October 06, 2012, 11:28:48 pm »
First off, blood from anywhere spreads everywhere where water flows. Known bug.
Second off, what do you mean by "water pressure trap?" The only way it would be different than a normal water trap is that it might fill up faster.
