And is it the handwriting or the lighting that makes them unreadable?

The lighting, but the handwriting could be touched up a bit. Map 2 is the better of the two, for the lighting is more consistent, but not too light or dark.
Not sure why flash turned on for the first. Since it's an issue, I'll re-photograph it.

How do you want to change it?

I want to just ditch the whole fief idea and become a knightly order. Smite some pagans, kill some heretics, that kind of thing.
[/quote]
Two knightly orders? Explain how it's different from the Almighty Guild of Knights and sure.

I'll five the issues and re-post them. Sorry for the crappy first pics.

Actually, it was from them being caught. And good rolls.
You take some of Psyghost's DNA in the form of bloody hair, and grab [6] a couple jeeps and a tank full of military gear. You run out of fuel shortly before reaching the castle, but your robots help with moving them.
You begin work. You don't make much progress before dinner.
After dinner, you look for a hacker to erase your records. [4] You find someone willing to do it for $500 and an autograph, to prove he really signed a deal with you. You decide this sounds reasonable, with all of the killing and blowing up you did.

It's bedtime.

END OF DAY 14 OF VILLAINY

Your income and expenses gave you a net profit of $60 this week.
Ashley's investments netted you [2] $27 this week.

What do you do?

BOSS TURN:
(5+3) The Lichette, Dirg and the Golem suddenly glow with a bright pink light, before vanishing from Aperture. Dirg awakens to the Lichette poking him in the side, waiting for him to awaken and see the splendor of the pre-universe. He glances around, and notices that he sits atop the Golems shoulder, while Lichette stands to his right. She pulls him up, smiling innocently.
"Dirg, look! It's so beautiful!"
Gesturing wildly, she points out the view before them. A void, mostly white, but with occasional splashes of colour. It seems to stretch on for infinity, a canvas to be painted. Suddenly, she leaps from the Golems shoulder, pulling Dirg with her. She utters a quick charm, and the two of them float mid-void, able to fly wherever they desire.
The beggining of time. Or, alternatively, if you no longer what to kill the lich, the boss Is yourself. Kill yourself, greatwyrm, do it to save our sins.
Dangit! That'll make my plans harder!

Sounds neat.

Will you be killing unnamed dwarves?

You could always make a special type of bee that in its hive produces a bar of bees. That way when you harvest it, it makes sense that it destroys the bees and hive, because they have been made into a bar.
I'll consider something like this.

You should be able to reference an animal material to create a bar. No reason not to have meat bars.
The problem is how to bars. Or blocks, I'm not sure...

DF General Discussion / Re: I absolutely love the idea of DF

I just cant seem to get the hang of the graphics, no matter what tile set i use. How long did it take you guys to overcome the learning curve and finally start to have fun?
Around the time I figured out how to dig, and the dwarves actually started moving. Before, Not so fun watching a bunch of dwarves stand in the snow, presumably just milling around in their *Cat Leather Parka*s. The moment they started responding to my demands though, Instantly hooked.
... I can't remember how many times I've had to abandon fortresses shortly after Embark in mountainous terrains because I looked away from my starting point, forgot which range of Z-levels they were on and what area of the map... losing my dwarves, how embarrasing  :P

Now I can always re-find them!
Try F1.

((I apologise for what you are about to read.))"To the beginning of time itself! Let our love spark the very creation of life, and your beauty so magnificent that light itself will form to gaze upon you." TO THE BEGINNING OF TIME!
(2+3) Lichette gives Dirg a small smile, then sits down atop the golem to focus upon her magic.
((GET YO ASS IN GEAR DIRG. SHITTY BOYFRIEND YOU ARE, YOU DIDN'T DO SHIT WORTH SHIT.))
Here is the offending passage. Also, I didn't mean I don't know where they are, I mean people are attempting to solve that problem. My solution is to rip a massive hole in space-time, other people are inventing time travel.
I don't know where the boss is. Where is he?

DF Suggestions / Re: Vector based font
« on: October 01, 2012, 06:07:59 pm »
That seems overly complicated and like it would make it harder to modify new tilesets.

Besides, DF has ASCII-style graphics; if you're here for the graphics, you're in the wrong place.

Try zooming. It looks really, really bad.

How often do you zoom? I almost never do.
Besides, that fails to address my concerns.

Wish the one dead
[4] You make a wish. It is ignored, although the one is slightly shakier. [5-2] The one tries to punch you but isn't very successful.
