((Making a potentially dangerous space crab a((Sure as hell didn't sound like he was just going to make them smart enough not to attack gods. That should come part and parcel with self-preservation instincts.))pacifist that is biologically incapable of causing harmlogical creature who won't attack gods is pretty much the same thing as making it a slave to all our wills. Yes, of course.))
((Well I think it would be quite glad to have a mind, this is assuming it lacks one in the first place, also I don't plan on making it a pacifist, I plan on giving it a logical mind that will make it able to decide for itself if it is a good idea to do something or not, odds are is fucking with a god is not a good idea logically, if it does already have a mind then I'll poke it a few times and go off and make Gas Krakens.))((That's not what you said the first time.))
Bit of perusing using " pill" as a keyword (the space is important) turned up a few locations you might want to poke around near.Much appreciated. What does the space do? Stop spills from showing up?
well, then please try to do it without making characters turn almost a whole 180°.I think you're exaggerating a bit. Selina wasn't exactly a Blood Knight, and...I can't even think of similar snarks to say about the others. So explain this statement, please.
That Selina is simply wrong. Also it's hardly the weight limit that would make her overpowered, but the actual function, like the bracelet. That stuff she creates would come pre-enchanted with telepathy and teleportation, now *that* is something that needs to be rebelanced. I kinda doubt that the weight limit will help. As far as the combat-prohibiting flaws go, where do they suddenly come from even? The weight limit is in the advantage, and I added a modifier that would allow her to ignore it with a bit of effort. Besides, how many things has she made that exceed the weight limit?
the problem I think is that really, nobody knows what the hell GWG is even doing. 70/09.~77 we keep that below blah?70 is the number of points left after buying two Alternate Forms. Alternate Form lets your alternate form be more powerful overall than the normal form, if you pay 90% of the difference. The difference has to be less than 77 points in this case, for reasons explained above.
what? what does that even mean?
More to the point, can someone point me to the GURPS rules we're using? The summoning system sounds like Anima, which I might reenter with, would be hideously unbalanced to her detriment.4th edition. I've posted a link to a Dropbox of the core rulebook (well, the first, but the second isn't needed unless we're playing real GURPS, and it's barely needed then) twice. Here's another. It works, right?
the current gurps rules do not cover summoning, or at least the summoning rules fromg urps are not properly implemented yet.I'll get around to it. Trying to make sure people don't want to throw out the GURPS book yet, and I've got real-life stuff to do too.
GWG: Healing(Afflictions Only) is from Powers, page 51. It's a -40% limitation, and changes Healing fro 30 points to 18.Good thing that I calculated it like that. I think.
100 our system, not 100 gurpsPrecisely.
man, these giant blocks of text. Please try to make it more in a list style, with appropriate spoilers and spacing. It's confusing to work out what you have going on thereSorry.
If you don't have anything for blood abilities what about other abilities that have to do with liquids?I don't think there are any. I mean, you can have acidic spit as an Innate Attack, but aside from that...
...When did weight matter again? It's a limitation in the Snatcher ability. That Cosmic enhancement would let you summon bigger things (at a cost).
I think this entirely overthrows any of the summoning rules we had so far. I am not sure just how much this gurps stuff actually fits into anything we have, nor am I sure why stuff like quadruped or stuff being untrainable makes stuff balanced. As it stands, with this, Selina can barely do anything at all"Quadruped" means several things. No hands, for instance.
What has happened from my perspective is Selina just lost all chance of doing anything in combat, especially with the sudden weight limit to her summons? So... she can summon a 175 stat living lunch box monster? Or hungry medicine ball? Or a REALLY tiny soldier? ...Thats really bad...When did Selina become a combat character?
I think we should rethink the whole gurps thing..I'm pretty confident that it would work for more characters than not, and provide a better solution for balance than "nothing at all". Also, I'm a bit annoyed that after acting interested so I would put all this work into making the system work, you suddenly change your mind at the first hiccup.
it seems to work out for Stella, somewhat, and *maybe* for Sen, partially, but as it stands, the whole conversion thing is all too badly explained and seemingly, if you ask me, unneeded. I will leave it up for vote
http://strawpoll.me/1815270/rGreat. How do we vote?
Removal of undesirable elements to create an ideal society.Wait, that sounds innocent to you? It sounds like a pretty obvious euphemism for genocide.
The first bit (DX+2) is the level of skill that gets you (in this case, two points higher than your Dexterity score).
Alright guys, I think I'm gonna have to change the post schedule. Summer classes plus my sister coming to stay means my time is stretched thin. So what that means is this:Acceptable. B12<RL
Missions+DMR: Update 4 times a week, mon-wed-fri-sun
Tinker, heph, ship: tues, thurs, sat.
This should only last until my summer classes are over, at which time we'll go back to once a day for everything.
Ooh, and say 'hi' to your sister for us. Tell her it's from a bunch of lunatics in space+1
