If you move the vampire to where a corpse has risen, chances are you'll spot it.A. The suggestion was to kill the necromancer first.
B. My fortresses always have a surplus of dwarves. Once the necromancer is dead, siccing migrants on the zombies is win-win.

Yeah, that seems odd...?[3] Lucius hits Darwuf [9dmg] painfully, not that Darwuf knows. [6] Darwuf rolls into and past Lucius, hurting his legs [11dmg each] and ending up in the fireplace [12dmg]. Hell, I shouldn't allow it, but...
Darwuf will now just dream about...dreamy...things. Oh, and didn't you know that Darwuf is a world-class renowned roller? He especially rolls a lot when he's asleep.
Darwuf's left leg is missing, his torso is at 51 HP, and he is at 19% blood. [1] He dies.
Lucius is missing an arm, his right leg is at 12 HP, his left is at 19, and he is at 22? blood. He will bleed 18% next turn. [1,4] Lucius passes out, hitting his head, but stays alive.
Lucius awakes. One, the last of the eight, stands over him. The one speaks.
"Well done, Lucius! You have won! Come and collect your prize!"
"Bah, I get called here for this?" bellows a mighty voice like an earthquake and screams of the innocent. "There's one thing I want..."
Another mighty being, like all dangerous things at once, moves forward and strikes both Lucius and the last one on the head.
"Fight. Whoever fights the best...wins."

He was real nice and stuff, and came up with a deal. He lends me a few sidekicks, you killed one you know, and a van for transport, and I give him half of the profit. He's got a bunch of those sidekicks, and he seems to have a really fast robot and a girl he was taking away, probably a hostage. Now don't hurt me! I was just trying to make a living and help people, and wanted to get Prof to pay up, and tried to stop him when I saw the girl, and...then this."
