I think the Ironstone house would get along with Redcliff. They sound similar. I had dwarves as a vague inspiration for the House of Redcliff, so someone who lives in the caverns and mainly uses metals and such would have a lot in common with them. Do the caverns have any mushrooms or whatever? We could set up a trade of wheat and other surface crops for fungus.

The Light starts to answer Richard before Titania blows him over. The Light brushes himself off, coughing a bit, and says, "Yes, I know your Shadow. He was a spy who worked on the opposite side of some missions. I was...his greatest nemesis!
"I was a mercenary back then, fighting primarily with a flamethrower. I've developed one of my secondary skills, though, and am as I speak raising funds for my own group of heroes." Misdirection mutters something about how robbery doesn't count as fundraising, but the Light ignores him. "I got myself a cape, ditched the gas mask, and here I am. Now back off, Shadow and minions, before I use my true power on you all!"

Making the Salvation liveable should be the first priority, followed by making it safe and mobile. Comfort should be dead last, right after some sort of farm to help the life-support system and supplement food supplies.

Okay, thats good. Out of curiousity, did you actually say that there is a program of forumers who are planning to conquer mars? At least she doesn't appear to know what Bay 12 is.
