I hope so too. Of course, if we don't get anyone by, say, tomorrow evening, there are heroes who work alone and perhaps pick up sidekicks or teammates.

I highly doubt it.

Fingers can't be thralls, only still-living creatures.
...Actually, I don't think fingers can be thralls either, unless you modded them to have the GRASP tag.

Make walls and trenches, fill them in later, see if we can capture and tame some sort of heat-emitting FB or titan to live in our moat and keep the magma hot.

Shake the hand of the Militia and KEEP STABBING URIST!
(Keep? Urist stabbed himself...)
Knock the two's heads together, then throw them down the stairs.
[2] Barloff accidentally smacks the militiadwarf and [3, 1] stabs at Urist with what remains of his bit of railing. Urist dodges into it while [5] grabbing both Barloff and the militiadwarf, knocks their heads together [4, 3], dazing the militiadwarf, and [4] tosses the two of them down the stairs, [5, 6] knocking the dazedness out of the militiadwarf's head. The militia dwarf [6] smashes Barloff into the part of the railing he broke off, spraining his arm. [5] Despite bloodloss and organ damage, Barloff is holding on. [6] Urist is doing just great, and an adrenaline rush hits him! (+1 to rolls for two turns, but -1 after that)

You decide to ignore Dodok. Soon, a cat crawls out of the armor with a little bronze bracelet around one foreleg and emits a disgruntled purr. It then walks over to an elf, slips off the bracelet, and puts it onto its wrist. The elf, still sleeping, transforms into a dwarf! The cat removes the bracelet, puts it on, turns into a (female) elf, puts the bracelet on the now-dwarf, turning him into a cat, and removes the bracelet before putting it on again, turning Dodok into his normal dwarven self. You turn away for a moment as he puts his clothes and armor back on. He then moves on to donning his armor, muttering about how glad he is that he was right. You try to get him to be quieter when you hear the alarm go up. The cat apparently told on you.

How will you get out of this?

So...Bump, and do you think my villain is more of a dark wizard due to Dark, more of a hivemind due to the blood slaves, or a combination of the two?

I don't think we will ever be able to make enough spaceships to abduct all of the idiots from Terra...
Then why not exterminate the rest?
That might be perceived as cruel.
By whom? By the stupids whom we exterminated just now?
No, the stupids in their government bunkers who control various important countries. And also various religious groups that aren't automatically targeted as stupid.

Alright. I'll do it. I would have earlier, but it's harder than you'd think to copy-paste on a tablet.

Name: Thomas
Race: Human
Weapons: Copper Mace
Armor: Copper Shield, Copper Helm, Copper Mail Shirt, Copper Leggings
Skill Specialty: Shield User

I'll wait. I did, however, figure out the heroes last night.
The Fly--Allegedly an experiment combining magic and technology gone rogue, The Fly has a variety of fly-like abilities, from flight and wall-crawling to noxiousness and a tough digestive tract. He is trying to find his real parents.
Shift--A high school dropout about two years younger than Fly at 19, Shift left due to being brought down from his popularity when his powers manifested. He lived on the mean streets of Macropolis for a couple years before joining the superhero team.
The Sprint, Mk III--An android with incredible speed and jumping prowess creates at Georgia Tech and accidentally left on. It fled, and studied genetics, sociology, painting, and other subjects as only a robot can. It follows Asimov's laws of robotics, and therefore chose to help with the superhero team. The Laws have been used against him more than once.
Sin--A former chemist who thought his new serum would not have the problems on humans in did on chimpanzees for technical reasons, tested it on himself when he couldn't get approval to test it on others. He has good coordination and unearthly strength and stamina, as well as a "sixth sense" for danger. Sadly, Sin also got major brain damage to certain parts of his brain, damaging his intellect and inhibitions.
Heart--The only woman on the team, Heart got her powers when she found a magical ruby that embedded itself in her chest. It gave her powerful postcognition and the ability to intuit emotions. She is also skilled at acrobatics, archery, and art. Some say she has a crush on Shift.

"Thomas, wake up."
The man stirred, not recognizing the voice.
"Another bad investment. The Tortoise never even fought before the arena owner left town. I've taken my money back, but once I provided for your family you owed me more than your property could hope to repay."
"Please," Thomas said, realising who he was talking to. He couldn't see the speaker due to a blindfold, but he knew him all the same. "I'll do anything, just don't harm my family..."
"I don't harm innocents," said the voice. "You are not an innocent. Here, take these."
Thomas took the items. They were some armor and weapons...the hell?...
"What? Do you need a bodyguard or a soldier?"
"The magic in my blood can defeat any assailant, and I can stand in for a whole army myself," replied the voice. "You...you are going to be a gladiator."
Thomas sobbed a moment. The voice left. When Thomas removed his blindfold, he saw a schedule on the floor. He was to be the first fight on the arena's opening day, fighting a boar.
The schedule had a note at the bottom. "Don't screw up--GWG.

Thomas is a human. He has:
1 copper mace (30), 1 copper shield (56), copper chainmail and leggings (40 and 46), and a copper helm (24). This comes to a total of 196 gp. Thomas has a few hours or days to practice the fine art of hitting someone other than yourself with a big, heavy mace or shield, and more importantly the art of not getting hurt while fighting. He will be fighting a boar.

Edit: Damn ninja! GWG pulls strings so Thomas goes first.

Dwarves should stop killing themselves so they can buy new stuff with life insurance money.
Selfish dwarves will no longer make themselves the beneficiary of their own life insurance.
Fixed a bug where merchants selling only weapons and armor could be convicted of insurance fraud.
