Well, the watergun would essentially act like firehoses IRL, except the delivery method is slightly different.
The method used would just create a big pool of water and maybe knock you over, not strike you like a liquid boulder.

Some options:
-Try to make an arm using various parts you scrounge elsewhere
-Cannibalize an arm off of one of the 'bots Jim is making
-Look for some sort of magic person to animate an arm to attach to you
-Screw it, you've had enough for one day and need a nap.

Dear Splint,
Take your cheese/lye/soap maker problems and multiply them by immortality before dividing by having to build towers instead of digging little holes in the ground. We need to send those armies out! If they lose, we get rid of the rabble; if we win, free homes for them and more materials to build towers from!

Autocrats should no longer execute themselves for treason unless insane, even on legitimate grounds.
Elves no longer declare war for killing countless blades of grass by trade caravans bringing them wagons of tribute.
Forgotten beasts now have a crude simulation of ancestral species. This will be developed into a fully functioning "evolution of magical creatures" system as I progress a bit in the Evolution Arc.

Training. Make sure you're releasing them into an enclosed space, e.g. inside, and they're as easy to kill as a goblin--easier, because they're not soldiers or armed. That means they are learning, pardon the pun, on the fly how to kick, bite, and scratch your armored dwarves.
