We don't know if it's a reanimating biome yet...but just chuck them into the caverns ASAP. Plenty of grass down there.

I died a hero...but now need a new dwarf.
Same naming convention as last time. I'll take the child who beat up the goblin. He hopes to live up to GWC's legacy and intends to lie about his age to get into the military when he turns 10. Then he'll repeat every season or so until he gets in.

You shout at Jim to drive you to the ER. You give a false name to the doctors and pay in cash you have Jim bring. Your facial burns from yesterday's death ray malfunction are being treated, too. You need to stay in the hospital overnight.
END OF DAY 2 OF VILLAINY
The next morning, around 9, a police officer comes to ask you a few questions.
"Hello, Ms. Ima Myron." You suppress snickers. "Where were you yesterday, around tenish?"
