How can you generate your own parameters that make small-island-festooned worlds with, say, high savagery or different shapes or biome distributions or otherwise not exactly like the maps you have?

I should advise that you look at the full list of spheres and come up with some general ideas for...most, at least. I did, back when I was making a thread about sphere-based biomes. Hoo boy, that was a long post. It was a good idea, though; it attracted many people to gawk and congratulate me. I'd come up with a list, but...actually, maybe I will. Later, probably.

[3] You make an acceptable death-ray. Given your limited supplies, it requires a few seconds to kill and almost a minute to disintegrate a human, but it's a start.

Level 1 or 2 makes sense for most things. Elves and perhaps the demonic magic of the goblins might creep towards 3, but that's the limit.
Except for things like night creatures and clowns. They might get away with 4.

What, no caverns yet?

Apparently the first cavern layer is below -100 z. I walled it off for now, we have enough food, wood, booze and fatalities for now  ;D I might set up a GCS capturing operation, though.

...Wow...

So, maybe move the hospital (and perhaps whole fort?) down nearer the caverns later, so you can have wells from an infinite water source? Or at least near a big cistern filled from the caverns? Infinite unfrozen water...
