Couldn't you explain it in the manual and advise people not to make things they don't understand?

EXPLAIN IT? ADVISE AGAINST USAGE IF POSSIBILITY OF !FUN!?
BLASPHEMER!

Meph has already done this for other features.

Only with a handful of tags.

Ooh, I know! Minecarts loaded with shields as a backup weapon!
Mostly defended by dwarves dual-wielding shields, though.

Don't reverted critters retain their trap immune status?

dear Urist McHunter
what is it with you and unicorns? seriously!
you have a unicorn bone crossbow, unicorn bone bolts, and unicorn leather shoes, and we mostly make pig tail clothes, and bronze weapons
i notice we have no non-unicorn meat, and over 30 capybaras in sight, however, only three unicorns
how about some nice capybara steak for a change?
ok.. two unicorns remaining now... and you are.. on your way to pick up equipment: unicorn leather vest.
..
ok, just what did the unicorns do to you?

signed: worried about your sanity

Dear Worried,

Haven't ye heard o' th' legends? Th' unicorns are th' most vicious creatures in th' realm! I'm protecting th' fortress from crumbling ta its end, ye fool!

Signed: Selfless Hunter (But wouldnae mind more booze)

P.S, also, unicorn meat is delicious even when uncooked, and unicorn hide is tough, soft, and pleasantly warms me.

Mountainhomes are cold, dank, and moist. If nude, you suffer not only embarrassment but the threat of death from hypothermia, infected foot wounds, or various types of parasites which hide in the corners. Also, dwarven children laugh at those who can't even afford some pigtail clothes.

Why would they want to be nudists?

Shieldforged? Sweet. Now we need to figure out how to solve all of our needs with shields. Maybe a military armed only with two shields per dwarf, and exporting only shields. For a start.

After a kill order is complete, dwarves will cancel it.

About the crossbreeding: tigers and lions can interbreed, but tigons and liters have new problems.

It all depends on how the GM feels about crossbreeding I guess.

And if I make a request, can there be a section at the end of each turn listing each villager, their occupation and gender?
Yeah...
The villager list would be nice.

And here I thought this was abandoned. Let's get this adventure started.

-----

You slap the man. He pauses, hurt both physically and emotionally. "Look, miss, we need every able hand to help. A dragon attacked not too long ago, and while we drove it off the fires it set are still burning."
"And why should I help?" you ask.
Glancing around, he replies, "These wares will burn along with your customers if you don't help." That is a persuasive argument.

You help out by running empty buckets back to the Eel River, a good-sized river running through town. You are in Redbank, a town a few miles upstream from the sea. It is noted for being a place of wealth, between trades with the eelmen who give the river its name and its thriving pottery industry, as well as being the largest town within a dozen miles that isn't fortified against some foe or another. Just the target for a dragon's raids. Redbank's citizens live mainly on houseboats floating in the wide expanse of the river, but their businesses and the homes of the less fortunate will burn fine.
As you run back towards the river, a faint shadow passes overhead. You glance up and see, farther up than a human's eye could see, the dragon hiding in a cloud. You're not an expert on dragons, but it looks like it's about to dive. You may have under a minute before it attacks. You glance around, noting a forge, abandoned by its owner nearby, as well as a small hut on the riverbank and some sort of armed vessel floating in the river.
What do you do?

Overly complicated, but that's how Bay12ers like it. I approve.

Send whoever of the marines or mercs has the most technical experience or training to get the data; back him up with Greg, Reg, and a marine or two. The rest should help some in the hangar until they hear back.

I like the level of detail.
