Where's that thread that describes the exact physics of minecarts, again?

I have found that a lead one hits like a truck (make a trap using them!), they usually will not fly off no matter how fast they are going, a track stop can be used to make a quantum stock pile, and for safety you should set traffic in those areas to restricted and make sure animals cannot get in.
Thanks for the suggestions, but the minecarts are unrelated to traps. I don't think wee even have any galena!

Well, after washing water, we clean it.
After we drink water, it goes through our body and exits in our waste. We remove the watery parts from the waste, use the rest as fertiliser, and clean the water.

Stone-digging would be not done, only because it's more tiring; thus, when you reach the enemy, you're too tired to not die. Probably. It doesn't make sense to let dwarves but not goblins or humans dig through stone, especially as humans are actually LARGER than dwarves.

...Why moose? I suppose I could whip up a domesticatable moose/cow or moose/dog genetic hybrid once I get my lab up and running...

Anyway, How does everyone feel about the following. During a 1.5 year Journey, you have the following daily rations:

50 liter water.
5 kg food a day. (That's a bit much actually, going to reduce that somewhat)

The water will need to be recycled daily, and the food every 3 weeks. (Note, booze is regarded as a combination of food(organic elements) and water.)
50 L of water, per person, recycled daily? Sound a little on the wet side, but better safe than sorry.

what does Siging mean ?

daily rations should be 2litres of water and about 3kg of food , 5kg if booze included .

2 L of water isn't enough if we want to bathe, water plants, have extra, and so forth.
