Were-things aren't so bad. Changing resets hunger, thirst, and injuries, so itr's a lot harder for them to die.

Couldn't you make rope to satisfy that demand?A bit of a funny thing.Demanding, or mandating? He might just be concerned about the pitiful state of justice in your fortress, wanting the well to be nicer than some crappy rope job, or thinking your war dogs need some bling.
My mayor is always demanding chains... So I take it he is a freak.
...You can do that?!?Make steel leggings, and melt them down again. You make More metal then you started with.[Ammo Stacks Exploit]
Y'know if you're going to expoit the game you may as well use DFHack to magic yourself up a load of flux / steel.
Jus, sayin.
Cool. Seeing as I have no idea as to how to make graphics work, I'll leave that to you.QuoteHm, That could entirely work I suppose, having your 'lungs' made of metal and on the outside seems realistic enough to me, its not perfect but it'll give the same sort of "John Madden Aeiou" feel I'd be interested in.QuoteAre you guys going to try and do it like a realistic space sim, or is this going to be a walking around breathing mars air sort of mod?
I'm terrible at DF modding but I'm one of the people who run the Spacestation 13 server D2Station, so if its the prior I'll certainly be interested in seeing how this goes.
But if its the latter, I'll probably give it about as much attention as I did for the "My Little Pony" mods.
I'm not sure. Realistic would be nice, but DF has certain assumptions, like breatheable air. Hm...maybe everyone has a "spacesuit" body part, which includes an air tank that they need for breathing?
Having all the clothing and armor being 'attachments' to your suits would be good too.
If 32x32 sprites work, I have about15 or so36 variations of coloured spacesuits, as well as different types of alien sprites.
Wait: is anyone seriously considering trying to get a Bay12 community space program going? I know our ingenuity is... boundless... but really?I doubt it. I sure hope it's not serious, because then I'd probably get put on the no-fly list.
On a side note, why use conventional drugs. Making slight variations on existing drugs isn't that hard, and with some experimentation you have your own branch of drugs, which isn't illegal as long as the governement doesn't know it exists.I thought the government started outlawing drugs by their symptoms just to prevent that...
or if we writte a letter to the Nazi , wait until they arrive , sell them tattered socks as a sign of disrespect AND survive after the genocide ....Nazis weren't communists, among other problems with that plan.
even the communists will fear us .
That is a written narrative history of how kobolds evolved. Somebody told a absolutely terrible and unrelated joke, and their minds melted to the state of only being able to make utterances and wear loincloths. Then why are kobolds so small?
Probably, other happy thoughts counteracted that.It would be awesome to have the dwarfs start with pretty strong unhappy thoughts by it, making settling there especially hard, but become desensitized to it as time goes on. Then all your migrants would get the same strong unhappy thought by the shear horror of the scene. Might even lend itself to the culture aspects of the game in future versions with peaceful pure cultures flagging you as barbarian savages.Well... That does happen. All of my Dwarves actually get happy thoughts by working outdoors and only grumble inclemently about the raining blood.
