That still leaves the last creature in each file, and each file would need to be done separately.
Still, I can see that being done in about 5 tedious minutes.

Turning enemies into cavies or cats or something sounds amusing, useful, possible, and perhaps OP. You can get them to transform themselves into bears or cougars or gators or what-have-you, but there's not really a good control on it. Unless you want them to turn into eagles or something to escape.

It wasn't until the start of autumn that I found a plump helmet to eat. Thank the gods, known and unknown! I finally have food! If only I had an ax...
A few days later, I ssee some goblins falling out of the sky. Clearly, they're finally being put into their place.

Memoirs of Ago
It was around the 4th of the month they call Limestone when a couple dwarves showed up to our little room. They took Kutsmob and Dang, and threw them into this hole in the ground. Dang took the poor landing well, and the dwarves forgot to strip him of his gear, so he was fine and able to cushion Kutsmob. Then the dwarves looked down through the holes and got scared. Morons. I wish they had tossed me and Aslot down there, too--this cage is confining, and I'm already starting to miss those two.
The next day, they took Aslot and tossed her down. Lacking any armor, she got injured from the 40-foot drop, but thankfully it was just bruises. Then I also was tossed down, cursing the dwarves for not letting me romantically catch Aslot as she fell. Of course, I'm glad she broke my fall, because it's not good to be hurt. It would impede our attempts to escape, or at least to find the source of that nice dwarf smell.

Limestone 12. I have six plump helmets, a quarry bush, a pig tail, and a stalk of cave wheat. Also a plump helmet spawn. I think I will take a break.

GreatWyrmBrass again

A child was hit by a minecart he was trying to remove the track for. It's a tragedy, I hope the CMD gets to work soon.
On the 6th of Limestone, I decided that I should mandate something again. Maybe some weap--wait, this is supposed to be a random thing. How about one earring?
On official business, I meet with Galleyinch. The little guy's been sad recently, due to his hatred of flies and the death of Broken. I also get a fair bit of trading done--mostly weapons, but a few shields and some other stuff.

A little note about family I just noticed: Glovedtrumpet, an early migrant if you'll recall, is, of course, both the slayer of one beak wolf (the record since the old recordholder got killed by goblins) and the father of three healthy children, including one of the only babies born in Zonnish. He is also the fourth of ten brothers and one sister (the youngest), who include the late Rimtar. A few of the migrant children are his cousins, and a couple of his aunts are here, too. One is a prisoner.

I don't like the idea of c always being high. After all, some fortresses use the z-axis extensively be, say, putting stockpiles right above/below workshops.

The biggest problem with any kind of multiplayer is, "What happens when one player gets bored or needs to attend to bodily or social needs, like urination, sleep, or work?" Currently, if such a situation pops up, we can pause or save, but what if one player does so while the other doesn't? There's no good solution to this.

To say nothing of interface. Some of the larger tablets might be able to have a decent display whilst still leaving an open keyboard, but not iphones.

Um, I meant in the civ's armory. Unless there's some way to get them to only use that wood, in which case jaguarmen beds and stuff would all have obsidian edges. Less issues if it's a special metal.
